  1. Awesome. Post pics!
  2. It would be nice to see manufacturing of this sort of thing stay in the US instead of going to China. There must be some point where the cheap labor in China is canceled out by shipping costs.
  3. Nice! I like the firewall.
  4. I wouldn't mind trying my hand at one of the Kenworths, I just don't know where I'd put it!
  5. Here's a relatively decent pic of a dash from a 1985 Kenworth W900: No, this isn't my truck.
  6. So, Matt, what's the status on this? Did you ever send that letter? If you did, what sort of a response did you get?
  7. This might help: Caterpillar 3406
  8. Looks pretty good. The denim is an interesting touch. What "tan" is that? I'm always on the look out for a nice interior tan color. So you know for the future, for the brake valves on the dash, the octogon (on the left) should be red, the diamond (in the middle) should be yellow, and the circle (on the right) should be blue. This is an industry standard. I think the blue valve was "removed" in the mid 1980s, though.
  9. Looks good. I like the mods. I wish I was brave enough to try something like that.
  10. Looking nice so far. Welcome to truck modeling, and I hope your elbow gets better soon.
  11. Nice collection of models. I like them all.
  12. Still looks wet. Is that black?
  13. Nice. Is that the D'elegant kit?
  14. I checked the Auslowe Web Site, but I didn't see the slotted screen. His site's still a Work In Progress, so it might show up eventually.
  15. The only Testors I use are Model Masters. They seem to work well. For most of my painting I use Dupli-Color, Krylon, or Tamiya rattle cans. No airbrush here! Woof!
  16. Looking pretty good so far. Are you going to swap out the 8-bag suspension for a tanden torsion bar?
  17. Well, at least he said please.
  18. Very nice. Great colors.
  19. I didn't write the thread, Ray (FlatbedKW) did. He does that stuff for a living. He probably has info on tying down all sorts of vehicles. If your talking military vehicles, I think the military has their own rules for tying down their equipment.
  20. Ok, you'll comply. Of course.
