  1. The kit has the scoop hood and the GTS hood, which has two "humps". I am also building a stock one of these and did basically the same thing Jericho has done. The real trick will be converting it to a four door. I'm looking forward to how you do that, Jericho. Carry on!
  2. Absolutely amazing!
  3. Nice job! Looks darn near perfect.
  4. Look here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/83153-paint-strippers-what-to-use/
  5. Are you looking for something specific? I probably have most of a Blue Max sheet that would probably fit.
  6. Is it possible to delete notifications after they have been read? If so, how? Thanks.
  7. They all look great! I particularly like the color on the Toyota.
  8. Beautiful job, Carl.
  9. Looks great! Amazing BMF work on the interior, that can't be easy. Everything is top notch, can't wait to see more.
  10. Happens all the time. I do exactly what you did, say thank you and walk on. No point in insulting somebody.
  11. I'll vouch for the LIndberg '53 Ford Victoria and the Off Road F150. Both are very nice kits.
  12. Thanks, guys.
  13. Thanks, Tom. Sounds like a fun rental, except for the "ticket me" red!
  14. Thanks, Rick. I used Detail Master spark plug wire. I got it at my local hobby shop. it looks pretty good but is a little pricey. I'm thinking about getting some bulk 32 ga. wire to try. If you look at Jim's '70 Road Runner in Under Glass (the yellow one), you can see what his wiring looks like. Looks good to me. Thanks, Ray!
  15. Thanks Don and Cliff. Bill, I tend to agree with you. I love the old Challengers, but I like the new ones too. Clean and crisp, with attitude. Regarding the license plate, the envious do cry out!
  16. I'll cast another vote for Pearl Ex. I mix it in Testors Clear Gloss Lacquer. It comes in bottles so no decanting necessary. I haven't had any problem with settling, I just swish the airbrush bottle around a few times before I spray. It stays mixed pretty well as long as you're spraying. It sprays about like Testors Metallizers.
  17. Thanks, Brian.
  18. Very nice, Jim. Great color and I like the wheels, what are they? Also, are you using aftermarket distributors? If so, what kind? Thanks.
  19. Thank you, gentlemen!
  20. This is really fun to watch. Cool concept and nice technique. Carry on!
  21. Those all look great, Joe. I'm on a Mopar binge myself these days. I'll never catch up to you, tho. Nice work!
  22. Hah! Good job on the vanity tag, Al! Your prize is (not!) in the mail.
  23. Like all my models, these are not perfect. I did not catch the crooked exhaust tip on the '70. Also, the hood on the '70 does fit (kinda), I just had it out of position when I took these photos. I won't go into detail of the other flaws.
  24. Both of these are Revell kits. The '70 is Testors Sublime, the '09 is Testors Bright Lime. Like many older cars, the '70 had some issues... A minor oil leak... and no brakes! Engine repairs done... and brakes added. Here's the interior. And under the hood. Chassis Here it is. Here's the '09... Anybody want to try to guess my vanity plate?
  25. I agree with all the above. Very nicely done!
