  1. Looks awesome! The two tone is great. What is the silver color on the top?
  2. And now, Mr. Webster, I mean.. Andy, you need to alphabetize all those! Meh, heh, heh.
  3. Really, really nice. All the extra work you put into this thing really paid off. BTW, my compressor needs fixing, could you send a crew over?
  4. Beautiful job! The flames are awesome!
  5. I like to rub vinyl tires with 0000 steel wool to kill the shine. Then sand the tread for a worn look.
  6. The stuff I found at Michaels is called "embossing powder", and it is in the aisle with the stamps and inks.
  7. This is a fantastic build. It's great the way all the different pieces are coming together. Your detailing looks good, and I like the way you make or alter stuff to get what you need. Keep it coming!
  8. Ho, Ho, Ho! I love this thread. Good one, Harry. I wish I had something to add, but you guys are doing great!
  9. ROFL! I will never be able to look at a Christmas tree quite the same way again! Merry Christmas to all!
  10. I agree with you Andy, I typed in "COE" to find a truck that I know has that in the title, and got nothing. BTW, it's First On Race Day!
  11. Wow! That thing is really cool! The more I look at it the better I like it. So totally different. Great job!
  12. Thanks, Jimmy. Let us know when you're ready to start casting again, I'll be watching.
  13. These are great! Will you be making a stock 2T-C (single carb w/ air cleaner) with a 5 speed manual? I'm thinking about building a model of the '74 Corolla SR5 that I owned. The only kit is a curbside, so one of your engines would be awesome.
  14. Man, I am so glad this thread and the WIP came up. I had not seen it and it is way to good to miss! Mark, I think you have outdone yourself, if that is possible. Absolutely incredible!
  15. Thanks guys! It looks like the '66 is the one I am looking for. That dpmcc site is really cool! Thanks again.
  16. Back in the day I had a Galaxie kit that had a race 427, teardrop hood, and a roll cage. I would like to get one again, but I'm not sure what kit it is. I think it was a '65 or '66, but it might have been a '68. Any of you guys know which kit it is? Thanks in advance.
  17. Good work, Nick. Nice details. I like the rubber around the grille and marker lights on the truck, and the scratched step bumper. Did you scratch the toolbox as well? The trailer is really good too!
  18. I'm one of those label reading guys. Testor's liquid (glass bottle) is MEK. I use Ambroid, which is methylene chloride, also something you don't want to play with. It is the active ingredient in the most powerful paint removers. The Ambroid may not be as strong, but the paint remover will definitely burn your skin, and the vapors are bad news. As the labels say: "Use with adequate ventilation"!
  19. Really, really nice work. Beautiful job on the truck, and the plow looks great! Is this your 1:1 truck?
  20. Actually it was not a fresh cartridge. I tried different print resolutions, and waited 24 hours before clearing it. It ran every time. The first attempt with the other clear worked perfectly. FWIW, this was black stripes on white decal paper. I don't know why it happened, but I'll just stick with the other clear.
  21. To help with text, try double spacing before and after you add a pic.
