  1. There were a lot of Freightliner COEs with these deflectors. Kenworths K100 too.
  2. Very nice rendering! Too bad there isn't more 1:24-1:25 scale models of heavy equipment like this. If I do remember well, this particular kit from KFS was pretty expensive so that might have turned some people off. But it IS very nice.
  3. Looking at the 73 Chevelle Tom is making... I'd say this Ol' Ford is going to be an excellent proposition!
  4. Try this lead: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65014&hl= I started one some months ago and haven't finished it. It might help you out some.
  5. Well, the Italeri kit is the place to start! Italeri used to have a kit of the FLC with a sleeper cab that was about that height but wasn't quite squared off as the movie truck's. Apart from that maybe a modified sleeper cab from the Italeri American Superliner might do the job, but you will need to square off the roof front and remove the front glass.
  6. I would have gone with a mediium blue, silver, medium grey or white, but that's just me. Any other color you mentioned would work pretty nicely except black as it would not have enough contrast with a dark blue. This thing is shaping up nicely Jarda, keep it up. Outstanding work as usual.
  7. ^^^^What he almost said!^^^^
  8. You sure made this one look right! Lengthened the frame, added frame steps, changed the wheels and tires, the quarter fenders, added a visor, painted the tanks and the battery boxes aluminum, the wheels too, air lines... With some careful attention these kits make a quite nice replica. Very good job! One thing I like about these kits is that the hood aligns perfectly with the cab. Among other things...
  9. I like this! It's almost sad to know that the truck body's going to hide some of that detail! But you have done a real good job of this!
  10. Well deserved! Excellent job, looks great!
  11. That is one nicely detailed and weathered model you have there, even by today's standards! I like the windshield wiper patterns in the windshield, they look realistic. I see you even have a photo etched exhaust shield... In the early eighties? You have added a lot of detailing parts to these kits. Nice job David!
  12. Dang straight! These wheels are great! Buy the tires that go with them too. Those high float tires are top quality.
  13. I like your version better than the "recovery thing"... Looks great!
  14. Nice work! The "new" parts you added actually look better than the originals. Nice weathering.
  15. That's how I like them! Clean and OEM stripes. Super nice.
  16. Quality first.
  17. Great work, all those rigs are excellent, but to me that drill in the last pics is a winner.
  18. Hmmm, are you planning anything for that DD8V92TA on the right?
  19. Man you guys have nice trucks! You still have the KW cabover! I had this idea of buying a K104 conversion cab from Auslowe and converting that into a North American phantom version...
  20. This WS is sure well equiped for working hard. Nice rig! When I see one of these kits I'll buy it for sure. I really dig that first pic, it looks real!
  21. Very nice rig, the paint is great, your trailer is top notch man, good work! Too bad those Volvos are curbside, but they do look good once built.
  22. Nice and clean! Ready to work.
  23. That's a nice 386 you had there Matt. I'm used to see the big "puck" shaped qualcomms, so they made them this small now. Thanks for the pictures, especially from the back of the cab!
  24. Wow, that's out of the ordinairy! Too bad the Powerliner didn't have a go at it. It would make a good modeling subject with the Italeri kit though. On the other hand it's a good thing the prototype in the last picture didn't make it either! Thanks Leo!
