  1. It will be on Facebook before you even get back home
  2. In luck you are
  3. So I am not 100% sure yet, but a big part of the fit issue is the lower radiator part you see that that is on the chassis, that front part is too wide so it keeps the bumper from seating back in its proper place, more to come on that issue. Another issue, the side and rear window pieces are going to need some trimming/sanding outer edges, they dont fit very well.
  4. Day four of decals , I only have a few left at this point.
  5. Almost Finished , just a few small things left to do, I need to get the chicken lights done, I want to redo the curbside door, but its close to be 100%, its about 98%, more photos to come when the new camera arrives, its currently loaded for Phoenix, so no more pics
  6. Thanks Dale, the decals do finally set down , but I will remember the hot damp cloth trick for next time.
  7. Because its easier to remove Sharpie ink from clear plastic then is to remove paint from clear plastic without messing up the clear plastic A damp rag of 91proof alcohol and the Sharpie Ink is gone and you can give it another go.
  8. Thank you guys I am the 98% completed mark, I just have to do the chicken lights, Ive been in mourning over the loss of my DSLR that broke, but will get some photos posted soon.
  9. Honest question, does it really even matter at this point? this thread is literally crying over split milk, time to move on, use this time being wasted crying over it on something more useful.
  10. Tires have been decaled, the tire will get coat dullcoat Working on the front end of the chassis, there is some fit issues with the air vents and radiator piece, so more to come on that And more decals , along with a mock up of the rear wing , these decals do not really react all that much to decal setting solution, at least the ones I was using, Micro Sol/Set and Tamiya normal and strong.
  11. They offered a free service, good on you for paying, you have ZERO right to be looking down at people and calling them tightwads because they chose to use the free service offered. And you are very much welcome, I was one of those free account users you are calling a tightwad.
  12. Working on the BMW M6 GT3 from NuNu Models, this is not a Tamiya like quality kit, its more like a Fujimi quality kit, still a decent kit. Started working on the decals( body has been painted with Tamiya Pure White and a coat 2k clear) , the decals are on the thick side and Tamiya Mark Fit normal or strong and Micro Sol/Set dont seem to work that good on them but they are nice. Using my phone camera because broken DSLR ,still trying to find the sweet spot. The detail up set C/F decals, while the worked good, they was a lot excess on certain spots so it was kind of PITA and the brakes with the P/E parts paint in various Metalizer paints
  13. That looks like a shadow to me.

  21. Well the experts in this thread have pointed it out that no one wants to build modern pick up trucks
  22. The way they did the part's runners, it looked they had at least thought about it, I really thought they were going to follow up with a dually, instead, we got a Hummer H1
  23. But for the Tv version its correct, remember, this is a TV build, not a real life build, and you know how TV and Movies always get all the details correct
