  1. Part one of all the trim done, what a pain that was, everything fit fine, it was tedious , and a lot of removing excess plating from the molding to get all of it to fit in the channels, I really was kicking myself last night for not having any of the Chrome Pens yet, really would of come in handy. Up next is the BMF on the greenhouse, and then get this one finished up, the interior is done, just have not photograph its yet.
  2. Thank you, yes, 2k clear , I thinned it just a little bit with Mr Thinner and added a little bit of Mr Retarder to it, its not perfect, there are some tiny debris spots, but they are hard to see and I am lazy so they are staying.
  3. Freaky Fast Ford Fusion Finished, let's see, lowered the ride height, used the tires from snap kits, added the spiltter, new shark fin made , added wedge adjustments bolts, added the two fuel lines to the interior , seat from previous NASCAR kits, added bumper camera pod, I think thats it. Printed out the missing decals. Paint was Tamiya white and black and clear, SEM Promax Chassis Grey for the chassis.
  4. This right here, and we thought building models could get expinsive But I agree with Michael here, taking photo's of models has really increased my interest in photography and videography.
  5. You did a good job.
  6. NASCAR doesnt have the power they once had to dictate things like days gone by, they had no choice but to ok it. Curious what "other forum" you are talking about, Randy's ?
  7. Very nice work Paul, it is overall a nice kit, and sadly, the doors fit a lot better then some kits that I know of
  8. Clear coated the body, need to let cure for about 24 hours and then will start the fun part, all the trim
  9. I was kind of thinking about just doing that , its not as wide as the ( for people that dont know, the kit spoiler is the superspeedway spoiler, Daytona/Talladega) low downforce spoiler. but its close enough I suppose.
  10. No, there are no duties on model kits that are imported to the US, model kits are listed under the toy category , and toys are on a list of duty free items that my be imported into the US. Buying from those sellers on Amazon is no different than buying from those sellers on Ebay, and a lot of them list on both sites.
  11. Very nice work
  12. After doing some paint work, applying the clear coat, got the decals in place. Splitter is on, but I need to spend some more time on it, I want to get the shark fins made, and looking at making the low downforce rear spoiler.
  13. The Chevy SS kits will be out in Nov of this year, who knows if Revell with tool up the Camaro body.
  14. Thank you guys 1971 is the year that it represents.
  15. I gotta agree, most kit chrome does indeed look why too toyish.
  16. Body is painted, but I sort of somehow forgot to mask off an area on both sides, after removing the black, and some of the white, I need to tend that before I can proceed. I used from the can Tamiya white and black.
  17. Chassis is pretty much done, just need to add the tow hook. Mock up, wheels painted, I still need to strip the chrome from the center cap and then paint those. Body wet sanded and ready for a final coat of paint. Started work on the interior
  18. So far, builds real nice, no issues, yes, the interior door panels are blank.
  19. I think the most I have spent on one build was the cost of all the supplies needed to make said subject, a 53ft trailer, I think I spent just north of $100, not counting the rig.
  20. The tubing I used is smaller then the ones that came in the last glue kits from Revell. I still think I might go down one size still. The first one is always an R&D kit if you will
