Tamiya is not a "hot" paint, its a plastic safe paint, do not worry, it will not craze the plastic. -

Yes, it has great coverage , one coat is enough, that in turns make it last longer. -

How about a topic that have no right or wrong answer , looking at any WIP thread, you see the different ways people go about building their models, and its interesting sometimes seeing how people go about building models, and one way is the painting and assembling process. So I am curious, what way do you prefer?, do you paint all the parts and then start the assembling process?, or do you paint and assemble in steps? And do you prefer to paint the body first or last?

The "unicorns and rainbows" mentality is rampant on most model car groups on FaceBook, The hobby is many different things to everyone, and what I have been noticing, is the whole point of the hobby is lost to many, to spend time doing something you enjoy, it is just mind boggling that how something as simple as building scale models for Relaxation(which is what most people are doing it for) creates so much drama. It doesnt matter what side of the fence you are on, the other side is doing it wrong. Now, for the disclaimer, I am not saying this is fact, just my observation from spending time on forums and Facebook model groups.

Clear coats are done, now I need to go back and touch up some areas of color that I missed, like on the insides of the doors.

For starters, not a new kit, its has been out for I want to say about three years now, I dont remember the exact release date at this moment, second, the one I have, had a lot of fit issues, for starters, the doors where out of shape, and one of them I could never get back into shape, and I had to glue them shut , there was not other way. The front fenders are not long enough, so you are going to have a large gap, the center part of the front nose is not wide enough, the engine cover was also out of shape and did does not fit right. The mirrors, there is no way to attach them to the windows, the holes for the mirrors to attach to are too large. This is a kit that takes a lot of work, and a decent amount of skills , sadly, I dont have the skills needed to pull it off on this one, there is a lot of potential with these kits, but the shorts comings get in the way of that.

Go for it, you only once, maybe twice if you are lucky , its seems to be a nice kit, and they it seems that are planning doing another version, so the more sales, the better of that happing
