  1. James, what is on the truck lid of the Delmont PD unit?
  2. Whats wrong BuckCherry ? , I use to love doing Crazy B@#$h at karaoke
  3. There are no NASCAR trucks, but there are track owned trucks that do travel within those tracks owned by ISC/SMI, most of those trucks are the clean up trucks.
  4. David, thats funny you bring this, I just started working a track saftey truck Here is something to keep in mind, that alot of the track vehicles will travel to other race tracks, ISC does that, so a truck you see at Daytona, you might see at Phoenix Intl Raceway. Here are a few of the trucks that are at PIR( same owners as Daytona) This one is from Auto Club speedway (ISC track)
  5. Thats right, 1,183 horse power in a Shelby GT500 Mustang, only 100 will be made and if you have $ 153,000 to spend , you might be able to get one http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/shelby-mustang-gt500-sc-1000-revealed-2013-03-26
  6. Started working on the interior And the interior bits, Its hard to see, but I used Tamiya German Grey I think on the middle section of the seats, and in on the door panels, but I darkened it to much so it blends in really well with my lighting right now completed dash Front grill and headlights installed Taillights installed as well
  7. I know what I think does not hold water here , I am sort of with Casey and think its a good idea to have a new member section, but at the same time, its not going to take anything away from the forum either. I say lets give it a shot, and see how it goes
  8. Well with the few GT3 and road race builds going on here, I figured I would start one as well. Its one of the new release's from Fujimi, its the Merc SLS AMG GT3 race car, there are two verison of the kit, and the one I bought is a non livery version, I am pretty sure the paint will be silver of some sorts, this kit does come with a basic P/E set . And the P/E set Started working on the brakes And front and rear suspension attached to the chassis
  9. You couldnt find the intrduction section because there is not one here Welcome fellow modeler from the other side of the pond
  10. MMMM, its ok, I have seen better to be honest Once you have been in the submarine, everything else does not compete
  11. Some little info I could find
  12. Using "Pawn Stars" as an exapmle may not be a good idea, all the stuff people bring in are props that the prducers give people waitning inline outside the store, and all the haggeling is all scrpited, the only real thing about the show is that is flimed inside the pawn store, and the employees are real, everything esle is all Hollywood
  13. Ray, the one I am getting is not the ones that are like you got, or the ones I can get now, its the stock verion, and it has LHD option as well, its a very long OOP kit
  14. True, but It has better engine detail then the Fujimi version does I remember one issue I had with mine, it was with the engine cover hinges, I could not get the engine cover to sit flush , and never determined the issue, so I had ended up taking them off
  15. I know I am quoting myself But guess what I got today, and email from Ebay telling me that tracking info was updated
  16. This is what I came home with from the first of our three model swap meets for the year, overall, there really was not much that jump out and I had to have, I got the Alfa kit for $20 , I am happy about that, and the NASCAR kit was free, it was given to me by a fellow club member , very nice of him
  17. I think it will look like great in gun metal, this is a good kit, I built it and did not have any issues that I recall
  18. You are going to have to go to find out in all honestly,
  19. It all depends, I am going to use our model swap meets we have here in town as an example, but almost all the kits sold are in around the $10 mark, some kits sell for a little bit more, some a little less, if its a common kit, then chances are its going to be selling for under the $10 mark. I can go to our swap meets here, and take $100, and buy ten kits, or more, it most case's , for the common kits, you can compare the prices to Ebay, just minus the shipping.
  20. I guess I will share one of my few bad seller experience's, I been trying to get my hands on the Aoshima stock Toyota Hilux kits, well a seller had one, going for $55, which is not a bad price, but he had the make and offer, so I did, we went back and fourth, and he accepted my offer of $42, yay me I was thinking. I paid the seller on 2-23, a week later, I sent him a message about some other items of his , and thats when I found out he had not shipped out the kit yet, he gave me some story that his account had been compromised and he didn't know that I paid for the kit yet, hmmm, yeah sure whatever, but ok, he said he would have it shipped out on Monday, ok, no biggie. So on the following the Monday, still no kit, message him again, he said that he "gave it to his employee to have them mail it out", hmmm ok, sure whatever, he said he would talk to that person to find if it was shipped. A few days later, get a message back, employee said they did ship it, but of course there is no tracking number. So he says he has another one of the kits that he can send, and he would refund the shipping, I replied with, I dont care about the refund of the shipping, I just want what I paid for, and that was the last I heard, and another week went by, so I had no choice to open a case on 3-17, and still have not heard anything from the seller
  21. Some people just need to vent a little a bit, and there is nothing wrong with that, if everyone can remain civil, then this thread wont get locked.
  22. Oh, dont get me started on about a seller right now
  23. Yes it is http://www.plastic-models.com/
