He lists every other Sunday. Follow him as a seller and you can see when he lists his kits. He just started listing the 64 Colony Park which I have little interest in. This is a nice kit that nails the shape of the 1:1 IMHO, but nobody will ever mistake it for styrene. You can see this in the eBay photos of all of his kits. Castings are kind of thick, but the visible surfaces are flawless. Not sure how hard I am going to work on correcting the kit chassis to resemble a wagon chassis.

Got something from Redding that a bunch of folks on here said that they certainly would buy when it became available, but I may be the only one to actually buy one. I don't see myself doing a full on Mr. Obsessive or Guthmiller on this because the donor chassis and engine compartment needs too much work to be accurate.

What did you see on the road today?
Rodent replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The wheels had a bit of surface rust, but I didn't see any in the body. Of course, I didn't climb up there with a screwdriver either. -
What did you see on the road today?
Rodent replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Not on the road, but in a parking lot near home as I was walking home from a local grocery store. Haven't seen a Yugo in forever. Not sure where it was going, but it had Michigan plates. -

The Ads Are Now Out of Control!
Rodent replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
When I want to click into the end of a thread, I am taken to the first post on that page until the ad at the top of the page decides to load. Then maybe I get to see the last post without having to scroll down. Maybe. Then when I scroll down, I frequently am greeted with the screenshot. Is it an ad that isn't loading, or is it a post not loading? Nevermind having to wait for the ad at the top of the page to finish loading so that it can resize the forum and become full width. Sorry if I have missed any of my forum friends' birthdays, I am rarely allowed to view the right column. I most frequently visit the forum on an Android tablet. I have not found an acceptable answer for ad blocking without a third party browser. I don't demand internet content for free, I just don't appreciate the ads screwing up the experience. Go look at Jalopnik if you want ad overload, but you can still view the articles. -

Racing White is creamy, it's a lot like Ford Wimbledon White. I have never built a Polar Lights kit, but I keep seeing them on here and may get one at some point.

Revell 2006 Chevy SSR
Rodent replied to Matt T.'s topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
I went to a few of those as well. IIRC, they called it Auto Show In Motion. They also had competitors' cars to drive as well. Complete base model Mercedes and BMW to compare to loaded Cadillacs. The thing I remember the most about the SSR was how much it squeaked and rattled. Very nice build! -

Not sure. I copied the link from YouTube and when I pasted it here, it made it imbedded. I didn't have to do anything else.

Favorite method for decanting spray cans?

I for one enjoy a really good hamburger almost as much as a nice steak. -
Don't know what your Walmart at the other end of US 50 carries, but mine has this "Hardware Store Paint" that HPIGUY uses. This is amazing aluminum paint, and I am sad that my Walmart doesn't carry any of the other metallics.

Best Airbrush paint and best airbrush paint remover
Rodent replied to smirker's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Local foofy grocery store didn't have any paper products this morning, but had a rack of 91% ipa. Probably gone now. -
I visited India twice on business. My left handed boss had been there many times before and was quite aware of the custom. Still, it was fun to watch him rewire his brain at every meal as to not offend anyone. I do prefer the Japanese method of hydraulic cleansing to the Indian one though.

Rodent replied to JerseeJerry55's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I get it Andy. I watch most of Chris' builds already. I don't understand the point of posting the link to the video with no comments. How about "No extra frame parts. You can see what's in the box here" instead? But thanks for the spoiler alert. ?
