  1. copper or aluminum?
  2. can peacefully coexist
  3. It's clothing optional
  4. Easter Bunny either
  5. I was getting it earlier in the week as part of an e-Bay ad.
  6. Try it? If you don't like it, you can use it up on frames, engines, etc. I love Tamiya primer, but I paid $14.50 for the last can I bought. I haven't found any Tamiya paint at any of my local HLs anyway. I bought a can of Testors paiint at HL today with the coupon and it was around 45 cents cheaper than the LHS charges, but the LHS was out of the color I wanted.
  7. As a native Californian, this sailed right over my head and landed in the Pacific Ocean somewhere. I had to Google the company to get it. Repetitive stupid TV commercials?
  8. I had a few years with Ford myself, and we sponsored a few ASSET students. Some good, a couple that we asked to go away. I wish her well.
  9. These huge ads on my tablet are unacceptable. They are bigger than the forum itself. Two for Tire Rack, one for Target, and the Google one appearing over the forum. Is there a way to set them to banners only? Edit: Now I have a floating popup from Nordstrom covering content.
  10. Mike, Several of the vehicle manufacturers have their own training and apprenticeship programs. Ford's ASSET program is 24 months and you graduate with an AA. You train a few days per week and spend the rest of the time working on real cars with real Ford techs in a real sponsoring dealership. Unfortunately, the nearest ASSET program to you is in Cleveland. She could probably find a sponsoring dealership closer to home though. It's worth looking in to, and she will have an AA upon completion as well. That could be a leg up to higher education for when she gets tired of working on Powerstrokes in the snow. Or even business classes if she decides to open her own shop someday.
  11. We still buy CDs. They get ripped to the computer and copied onto USB flash drives. The Mazda 3 and the Focus both have USB inputs to their infotainment systems and it is convenient to have 80-100 CDs on that tiny little USB drive. AFAIK, it is still legal to make a "backup" copy of music that you legally acquired.
  12. Chris coated the bare plastic with Future. The plastic in mine doesn't look as good as his, so I think the body will get paint. I don't build Porsches, and I don't build 1/16th scale, but it appealed to me anyway. ?
  13. Gotta remember we are talking about a Barris creation, not something from Harley Earle.
