I asked the same question a while back, and got no answer. I ASSume it is. HPIGuy did a build of one if you want to see what's in the box and how it goes together.

Got these yesterday from Burbank's Hobbies via eBay. The Porsche is nice enough. I wish Round2 would offer the Firestone Wide Ovals separately in a parts pack like the Polyglas.

Vince PMed me and told me it was yours. Very nice! I have a Modelhaus one that is way too thick and the scoops aren't open. It's a nice casting, but his master wasn't the greatest.

Is that true? Chrysler used to put white steering wheels in manual steering cars, and CHP didn't order power steering until 74 or so. I didn't think that CHP wanted white wheels, it was just that they came with manual steering. Mopar nerds latched on to the fact that the LAPD cars used in Adam-12 had power steering because they didn't have the white steering wheel.

What are you building? A 49 convertible or a 50 coupe? -

49 has an exposed fuel filler, 50 has it hidden behind a door. -
What did you see on the road today?

Whoda thunk that an extremely heavy wheel/tire package with the wrong offset would be an issue on a 200k mile Tahoe? Guess the ball joint separated? He dragged that tire all the way to the road on the right after the overpass. He also did an awesome job of keeping it in his lane. -

I stopped visiting when they made the format change. It's too much of a PITA to just see the new posts in a thread. Plus, I got tired of the whiners and bullies. The three picture rule was for the folks on dialup (is that still a thing?) IIRC. -
I was impressed by the ROG 1/16 Porsche 356 that HPIGUY built recently. I don't build Porsches and I don't build 1/16, but I think I want one. Is it a new tool?

Notice that the box art cartoon car has '65 wheelcovers and grille. Looks like the art department wasn't communicating with the production department.
