Its (near) twin lives somewhere near me. I keep seeing it on the road and even in the parking lot at Lowe's. The best part is that the guy I see driving it is probably not even 40. Speaking of 40, it seems to keep up with traffic fairly well at 40-45 mph.

What is the tub made of? Is it enamel finish or plastic? We stopped using bar soap 15+ years ago and it really cuts down on soap scum buildup in the shower.

Every time this kit has been out, I have fondled it in the LHS and returned it to the shelf because a) I don't have a lot of space for built large scale kits and b) I couldn't justify the price point for what is basically an inflated 1/25 kit. It looks like retail on this one is going to be close to $100. I was at 5:29 in Chris' video when I decided that I won't be getting this release either. Maybe I will if Hobby Lobby puts one on extreme clearance and I decide to go for 3D printed wheels/tires and maybe the normal 1x4 barrel intake. Otherwise no. His example had both a junk body and a junk decal sheet. Not good. Door lines need a good rescribing and the hood hinge slashes in the firewall are tragic at this scale. I realize that this is an old kit, but at this size couldn't they originally have made the stock wheels three pieces? What are 6.70x15 Firestone Supremes doing in a '69 Camaro kit? No wonder they don't fit the wheels.

True. As I was typing that, Netflix was being viewed in the family room. The "account suspended" line was added into the very same email that was sent a few days ago. I must add that the email address that this email is from is the Romanian department of driving permits.

Just got another one today. Now my Netflix account has been suspended. One thing I will say, the composition and grammar in these is head and shoulders above any other phishing email I have received.

The Spaz Stix clear goes over it nicely and doesn't seem to affect the "chrominess". I experimented with it on a set of taillight bezels that are anodized aluminum on the 1:1 and was hoping to tone down the Revell Chrom a little bit, but they still look chrome. As far as durability, it seems pretty rain proof. The can I am using leaks a bit under the nozzle and I dripped some on my concrete walkway about 3 weeks ago. The sidewalk is still very chrome. I need to get a wire brush after it......

I got the same one and I DO have Netflix. As TJ recommends, I looked at the email on the computer and it wasn't from Netflix. Even if it WAS from Netflix, I wouldn't have clicked the link in the email, I would have logged in to Netflix and checked the payment info.

Save him as a seller. He posts resin every couple weeks or so. He is a member here as well, but I don't know how often he visits. When I posted my '66 in the "What did you get" thread, I got an apologetic message from him, saying that he had sent the old style seats with my kit and he had some redesigned ones. He immediately sent me the updated seats. Upstanding guy IMHO.

Follow robbbbbb57 (Paul Hettick) on FleaBay. He has transkits of the '63, '64, and '66 wagons. I have a '66 Squire in the stash and it is very nice. I don't remember if the '63 is Sedan / Squire, but the '64 and '66 are available both ways. I know that you are a Ford guy, but please remember that the donor kit chassis are not correct for wagons and need some surgery on the "trunk" floor, fuel tank location, and spare tire storage to be accurate. Exhaust on the '66 donor isn't correct for a wagon either.

I snagged an original one a while back on the 'Bay for dirt cheap, possibly because the seller ended the auction when nobody in the U.S. was awake. It looks like a nice kit, and I am glad they are bringing it back.

I did NOT purchase several kits that seemed interesting after watching HPI Guy build them. Nothing to do with his build, I just decided that the kits weren't appealing after all. On the other hand, I picked up the Revell 1/16th scale Porsche 356 after seeing it built. I wouldn't normally have interest in that, but it is overall a nice kit.

It is fun to see Madonna treated like that since Guy Richey directed it. I also enjoyed "The Ticker" (I think that was the name). Much of it was filmed around here.

I looked at your build thread, but must admit that I TL;DR a lot of things. I would like more info on the air cleaner, since the 1967 390 GT/GTA Mustang and Fairlane have kind of an oddball unit with the two screens and no snorkel.

Sorry, no '67-'68 coupes other than some (and some not so well done) resins. I would love a '68 coupe kit or decent resin or 3D. Owned this Diamond Blue one from August 1977 to May 2001. 302-4V, toploader, disc brakes, AM/FM stereo. Gratuitous shirtless pic probably from 1992. Mostly original paint on a car that had been garaged most of its life. Never ventured more than 3-400 miles of where it was born in San Jose, CA 4/5/68. Wish I hadn't rehomed it 😞
