  1. I assume that is Canadian since that is where the listing is from. That would be about $35 USD.
  2. My 1961 Plymouth story? The mom of one of one of my elementary school classmates drove a robin's eggs blue 4-door that was probably a Savoy, maybe a Belvedere. It was really plain. By 1968-69, if there was a school field trip, none of the guys (and hardly any of the girls) would ride in that car. It was that fugly, nobody wanted to be seen in it. I think she finally gave up volunteering to drive.
  3. Sunsets in Canada are beautiful especially on Sunset Beach in Vancouver.
  4. His building style was amazing and he seemed like such a nice guy online. He will be remembered and missed here for a long time, along with Harry, Lee, and others we have lost.
  5. I have no idea why I bought this, since I absolutely hated these barges when they were new. I guess they have grown on me over the years. Resin trans kit from Paul Hettick arrived on Wednesday. The interior was mastered by our own forum member Tom Ellifritt. Donor kit arrived from Burbank's House of Hobbies today (neither HL or my LHS had one). I wish it didn't have vinyl top belt moldings. They are going to be a pain to BMF and I don't think I can do a decent job of removing them. Thinking dark blue, navy interior, black vinyl top. That means that the bodyside molding will have to be black as well.
  6. Right click. Are you a teacher? All the teachers I know mix up left and right because of years of facing the class 😁 (Unless you are left handed and have your mouse set up that way)
  7. The Revell '68 Mustang has rectangular non-remote mirrors and the AMT '67 Mustang has a semi-rectangular remote-style for the driver. Those are all the Ford mirrors I can think of off the top of my head.
  8. I bought a resin trans kit on eBay from Paul Hettick Sunday evening. He mailed it from Floriduh Monday morning and it was in my California mailbox yesterday (Wednesday). Pretty fast even for Priority Mail.
  9. Seller sixft4kid92c2 on FleaPay has a lot of promo and model fender and hood ornaments. The '59 Galaxie ones are $7.50 each, but they are nice.
  10. It was on the AP website, allegedly taken by Mark J. Terrill of the AP from a helicopter. The woman who owns it didn't lose her apartment either (allegedly again). Stranger things have happened....
  11. I saw some pictures from Jacksonville, AL that my cousins sent and/or posted on IG. One cousin's dog didn't know what to make of it at first, but soon figured out that it was fun. My cousin built a "snow dog" replica of him, complete with a stick in his mouth. It was cute with the two "dogs" posing together.
  12. It may have been, but it also was suggested in some 1970s MPC instruction sheets. I use the same type, and hang the body upside down to dry.
  13. Lenny, is this a '67 or '68? I recently acquired some '68 parts to complete the restoration of one I built in the early 1970s. There is a surprising amount of parts for these kits on eBay if you save a search or three and have patience. I would probably look for a better body before fixing that one unless it has sentimental value to you.
  14. Look at the inside of the trunk lid. I agree with the guys that it is probably a resin repop of the 1970 annual.
  15. "It followed me home, honest Honey." 😁
  16. Well, couples/families of varying body types and genders that share a vehicle might appreciate a "memory" feature that adjusts the seat and sometimes the steering wheel and pedals to "their" setting after someone else drove the car. The person who performed the alignment on my car a few weeks ago was about 2 inches taller than I am, but mucked with the fore-aft, cushion height, and recline adjustments for his brief seat time. We don't generally swap cars, but we both appreciate a multi-way power driver's seat with lumbar because they are more adjustable for comfort than just front/back manual adjustment and some of the lame-arse attempts at "manual" cushion height adjustment/rake I have seen on bottom feeder cars. Anything on a CAN network has the ability to take out the network if it fails. I spent a scant few minutes looking at wiring diagrams and I can't figure out why the Kia camera is on both high and low speed networks, but it is. I am not going to lose sleep over it.
  17. Its (near) twin lives somewhere near me. I keep seeing it on the road and even in the parking lot at Lowe's. The best part is that the guy I see driving it is probably not even 40. Speaking of 40, it seems to keep up with traffic fairly well at 40-45 mph.
