  1. I received mine already today (thanks USPS!). The website shows an exhaust system that was not included in my kit. Also, the instructions show to remove the front stabilizer bar from the donor kit front suspension??? I picked up a 67 Shelby at HL on Saturday, but haven't cracked anything open and tried to test fit parts.
  2. rmrmodels@gmail.com It's under the FAQ section of the RMR site.
  3. I ordered a Shelby from the website yesterday. Hurry up before they are gone!
  4. It has been my experience that the newer Revell chrome is the most difficult to strip. Super Clean or stinky Easy Off for me. Round 2 chrome will come off in a couple of minutes with Bleach, rubbing alcohol, or brake fluid.
  5. Two comments from me: I had a Fox body Mustang hatch and my dad always complained about his "thinning spot" being like a bug under a magnifying glass any time I made him ride in the back. A friend's father had a 63 Stinkray coupe for a couple of years, bought new. Things were different then, but his two youngest kids loved riding in the back cargo area.
  6. Doh, I forgot about them. I am not part of the group anymore because of too much whining and the yearly "There's a Satanic cat slasher in the neighborhood" panics when the coyotes start taking to-go bags of little Fluffy to their young pups.
  7. I don't remember ever seeing a Galaxie 500 "4-door fastback", I remember them all being 500 XL variants. I just looked up the production numbers, and they made ~49k of them vs. ~15k of the XLs. Learn something new every day I guess....
  8. Start one? Our subdivision has both a Fakebook page and a groups.io email group.
  9. I have had several instances of Tamiya sprayed directly over styrene that is pretty much impossible to remove with any of our "known" strippers.
  10. Thanks. It looks like the "no shipping to the USA" message is gone now. Too bad about your Jag!
  11. Have they finally decided to ship replacement parts to the U.S.? I need a 69 Chevelle rear bumper (bad chrome) and haven't bothered to request one because of their message.
  12. Jim, save your pennies and dimes and buy a plane ticket to California. Our beloved Sierra #3 is alive and well in the foothills east of Sacramento/Stockton. She will take you for a ride. Most of the stock footage of her was filmed in Jamestown. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sierra_No._3 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railtown_1897_State_Historic_Park
  13. Nope. A Norwood built V8 67 Camaro coupe is all the VIN would say. GM didn't include engine info in the VIN until 1972, other than 6 or V8 model.
  14. I was at Target on Friday and decided to walk across the parking lot and check out one of the world's worst Michaels. I thought they seemed to be getting rid of models, but they actually had five of the Jags on the shelf. Wonder what the deal is? They never had new releases before other stores before.
