  1. Real cool lookin bomber seats and I'm lovin the stance. I'll be following this one.
  2. The paint work held up nicely over the years. Must feel good to get it all finished up, ended up being a real good looking build.
  3. Congrats! Well deserved.
  4. I've actually came across a couple of pages like that here and there myself, I thought it was just me. I also came across some pages where I see the persons type but then everything's blank underneath. I thought maybe I needed to reload or perhaps they forgot to add photos but other people have responded with comments so I know they've seen the photos. I thought it was just me, of I come across any pages I'll try and remeber to post a link for you Harry.
  5. Haha....that's alright. I would of too.
  6. Wow Richard, talk about well executed. So killer with all the little details you added and how you tied the bed and cab together with that piece of wood on the bed rails. A lot of fun watching you build this, everything just came together so nicely even after the cat destroyed the first body. I hope one day i can start whipping them out that fast. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see what your next build is gonna be.
  7. Your right michael but I appreciate the time that people like yourself take to explain things out for me. Sometimes it's the only way I learn. I'm not so much worried about the airbrushing as much I am about laying the mask back down after I cut out the flames only because I won't be using an airbrush. Just gonna be simple and a lil different my first time around using flat black for flames, lime ice green as base color, and a pinstripe (maybe an orange, not sure). Any advice on how you would go about running a pinstripe around the flames? I'll keep my eyes opened for the merc in the "under glass" section. Looking forward to seeing how that thing looks all together.
  8. I was looking all over the place in the under glass section for this, I guess I know what happened...lol, been there. Well like I said before, I really like what you did here. Taken something that's been done over and over and changed it up to make it your own. I love the smooth look of no handles/drip rails/etc. with the combo of the color. Good job, looking forward to seeing you finish this up. Keep building for you, it's the only way to do it.
  9. Ahhh that's alright Jeremy, it still looks great with that stance. Like any normal mini trucker, I just wanted to see how low it would go...haha. The stacks will look good, make a hell of a difference with the overall look. So did I understand it right that your putting 3 stacks? Be sweet to have the 3 or just the 2 poppin out of the bed instead of on the outside. Sorry man, now you got my mind leading to places. Keep it going, excited to see what you have in store.
  10. They came out great. If you scratch built them I would love to see photos on how ya did it or what you used. I wasn't aware that the 39 wagon came with them. It's coming together nicely, can't wait to see it done
  11. Wow! That's actually a pretty great idea. I know exactly what your talking about. I know there is a company or two out there that make a few flame maskings but I never thought of doing it like that. This way you can actually get the exact graphics you want. I wonder if you could take the car in the back of the direction sheets and use that as a template. The funds are a little low but when I get the chance im gonna try this. This time around I think I'm going to lay out my 2inch tape, trace the door/hood/trunk/etc. lines, then do a rough outline of my flames, take it off the car, make my final flame outline and then cut it out. Is it hard to lay them back down on the car? That's what worries me, trying to get it all lined up right without ruining it. After painting the flames I was thinking of leaving the mask so I could lay down a better pinstripe, then peel it back and clear it. Thanks for the tip, I'm all ears for any advice I can get.
  12. Man, it's just so cool and different looking. I love the fact that those big huge meaty tires are sunken in just a little on the back wall, I'd hate to have a blow out. Nice touch with the plate and the smith&wesson over the back window. My wifey had pointed this out to me and I'd have to agree but everything looks like its weathered but the headers are bright white. Other then that everything else looks killer, nice build.
  13. That thing is pretty sweet. I'm not to familiar with these, I'll have to try and find some photos of one done. Love your paint work on it, I hope you'll be keepin it like that. Did you have a flame mask or is that something you taped off and did free hand? I'm planning on taping my whole merc off then carefully cutting out my flames...should be tons o fun.
  14. They look like the wheels out of the revell 57 Chevy Belair custom kit
  15. Real clean and simple, looks like a nice daily driver. Sucks to hear about it getting busted up in the move but glad you were able to fix everything and rebuild it. Nice build
  16. I like what your doing here with lil red, I've always wanted to see one slammed. I'm all about the minitruckin' style. I personally would like to see the rear end come down some more and get that rim tuckin like the front but other then that it's a real cool build. Are you going to add the stacks? Keep it going, looking forward to seeing the progress.
  17. That's a pretty mean looking cuda. Love the meaty tires and the stance is perfect. Nice job on the build
  18. What is that body for, looks kinda like a merc mixed with something else? The paint looks great tho whatever it is, now I really can't wait to see this one finished up.
  19. I 2nd that. Nothing like a nice slammed truck, especially one that's doored. The lower the better, keep it goin.
  20. Beautiful merc, nice job.
  21. It was a lot of fun to watch you build this one up. Real clean and sooth and just flows so nicely. Love where you put the tail lights. An over all nice build, great job Andy.
  22. A lot of great details. I still don't know how you guys work with such little pieces. I can't wait to see it all finished up, keep it going.
  23. Lol I know how that goes. My wife likes the gold as well, I've just never been a fan. You did it tastefully tho, keepin some chrome with a touch of gold
  24. Wow! That frame looks great. Real clean and simple, gave me a lot of inspiration to get mine done. Can't wait to see the body all done, keep it up.
  25. Glad to see your feeling better. That lil bit of time away did you some good, your really cruising through this build now. Lookin' good
