  1. Looks good.
  2. Great job Roger. Great to see these all in one post.
  3. Just bear in mind that there are multiple body styles incorporated with the 63 Vette. The rear fenders will look different when you are looking at a pro mod style wing or a pro stock style wing and there are also different heighth issues with different body styles. Here are some that I have as research.
  4. That paint job looks awesome. I would attempt the pinstriping as it would definately define the graphics better and going with the technique already mentioned would make it less stressful on you. Adding a clearcoat beforehand so if you make a mistake or are unhappy with the results will simply allow you to remove it without damaging the paint. Either way it's going to look great when finished.
  5. Hey Charlie, apparently the new reissue of the JJ Vega funny car has the Briggs decals you need. Not exactly the same text as on the Camaro but closer than anything else.
  6. I should have also clarified that the Nascar builds are all curbsides. No engines, which lends to quicker build time.
  7. I'm a Mopar guy at heart but I've always been a sucker for a nice 55 droptop. Good looking builds, all of them.
  8. Great looking builds. Cool photo spot also.
  9. Always one of my favorites.
  10. Some interesting stuff to say the least. Your weathering skills are top notch.
  11. Not duct tape, although I have seen some camo duct tape. What you see on the truck is homemade decals that I created on my computer.
  12. They all look good but I would have to side with the 70 Bee as my favorite.
  13. Looking better and better with each update Tyrone.
  14. And a few more. I wasn't thinking that it was a very lucrative year for completed models until I went in to do this thread and revisited everything that I completed in 2011. Hopefully 2012 is just as good.
  15. If I remember correctly this would be the order to what I completed this year.
  16. Superb builds Virgil. Love your paint schemes.
  17. That profile shot looks really good Charlie.
  18. Here's one right up your alley Virgil, and one of my favorite paint schemes. Whoopiekat decals was supposed to be creating this in decal form.
  19. Very nice progress. The headers look good.
  20. I will definately be there. I'm sure the state of Florida and the Southeast car/truck builders will represent with plenty of entries to fill the tables.
  21. The Segrini car is the early version 73/74 and the Santucci version is a later bodied Vega from around 76 or so with a slightly differing paint scheme. The car was also run as a Duster bodied car as well. Brett I got your email and I will have your decal scan emailed to you by tommorrow afternoon.
  22. Slow and steady progress on this one. Finally had a day off from work with no chores to do around the homestead so I was able to spend some time at the workbench. I blacked out the window frames to ready them for glass. Then I tackled the wheelie bars and the spoiler braces. That's pretty much it for now but I should have the time to button this one up over the coming weekend.
  23. I don't know how much harder I have to look. To the best of my knowledge Monogram put out two rear engine kits that were replicas of real cars. One was the yellow Prudhomme Carefree car and an all red Mcewen Carefree kit. These kits came with the xmas tree and the extra crew figures. If they came with wiring I'm not sure as I never had either of them. If they made any others then I am not aware of those and I would love to see some box art. As for the picture shown I am seeing a multi color, Go Navy, English Leather Mcewen car that was a single kit as well as in the double kit. That was a Revell rear engine kit. And some of the Revell kits came with wire front wheels and some came with solid front wheels. Plus, if this were a reissue of an old Monogram kit then why wouldn't Revell market it under that name like some other vintage reissues that they've done in recent years? Now, if any of my information is incorrect then someone please elaborate on what I should be seeing. But, as I said before, either way we are going to get something good.
  24. The picture on Revell's site indicates the Revell rear engine kit. The description with the extras listed indicates the old Monogram rear engine kit. I guess we will all simply have to wait to see what it is they release. Either way it's good news.
