  1. Come on! Logic has no place on television!
  2. Very nice conversion! I’d be pleased to have this on my shelf
  3. Nice work! Great color and it builds up nicely
  4. It’s a fun kit with a lot of options. I have a couple of old builds I have restored with the custom parts.
  5. I’m in the camp of having kits for my retirement. Do you remember the Twilight Zone episode with the reading enthusiast whose wish that all people should go away so he could spend all his time reading? He woke up one morning and everyone was gone, he got his wish! Then he broke his glasses and couldn’t read! i worry that I may decline physically and won’t be up to building all those great models I intend to build one day. So it’s one day at a time!
  6. Nice pair of model in great colors!
  7. Lookin good Rich! ?
  8. Agreed. Be careful with the plastic hinges. They were engineered some 50 years ago and especially the one on the drivers door has some wear on the tool. Also make sure your door fit is good and allow for paint, they can be tight. Also check fit with the door interior piece attached or taped to the door. Had some issues with the back edge and the jam.
  9. Which is why I haven’t sold anything! A while back when doing inventory I found I had a dozen 1950 Ford pickup kits, mostly bought cheap at shows. I took the unsealed ones and dumped them into my 50 Ford parts box. Worth more to me as parts. A bit more confidence when trying something radical, if I screw up a part I just toss it out and reach for another copy.
  10. Ha! You’ve seen my basement! ? And with all the great kits and resin I own, I’m much more likely to fiddle with old scrap or the parts box to build something!
  11. Back in the days when I had an office I had a few vendor provided diecast trucks on the windowsill. I found that other vendors who visited would see that and find me a truck from their company!
  12. I am consulting in a large company right now where I’ve been hired to improve processes. And there’s much low hanging fruit actually touching the ground. The big issue is that half the people don’t want to change anything and the other half don’t believe they can! I was asked why I was frustrated, just take the fees and let them do what they’re gonna do. My reply? I’m frustrated because at the end of the year I’m unemployed again and all these dolts still will have jobs!
  13. I did actually have the shelves over my workbench come crashing down! Completely flattened my poor chair. Thankfully I wasn’t home at the time!
  14. South Dakota’s cold!
  15. About ten years ago I ran out of room for more models.. so I did the right thing.. I bought a bigger house! ?
  16. I resemble that remark! I bought a total of 5 1962 Thunderbirds with the delusion of using the innards to rebuild my 1960-66 cars! At the speed I build?
  17. Since we’re all sharing...
