  1. I believe that’s the Yellowstone visitor center that just burned down
  2. Nice work! Getting that promo apart is the hard part! We had a red Storm bought with 120.000 miles on it for my older daughter’s first car. It performed flawlessly. Then it became a family spare car until my younger daughter started to drive. I drove it to work once a week. Then it was her car for a few years until she spied a Celica convertible she wanted! I did sell the Storm for about what I paid for it 8 years later.
  3. Never say never! I once had a 1978 Toyota Corolla Deluxe station wagon. It was my first brand new car, a company car. Surprise! A resin caster in Ukraine produced it! So I have it ready to build
  4. I did the annual NNL East postcard mailing on January 15. Usually 2-3 days later people are posting about them on social media.. this year nothing! It was taking 2 weeks for people on the East Coast to receive them. I started getting Return To Senders almost immediately.. First I saw none of them had been postmarked! That’s close to $1000 postage that could be reused! Next as I looked at the reasons for the returns.. “No Such Address” “No Such Number” I started looking up the addresses and found both USPS and Google Maps found them. Google Street View found houses! I emailed a few and people said yes that was their current address! I sent the cards back out and didn’t see them back again. And 2 months later I’m still getting random Return To Senders. I don’t dare remove those folks from the mailing list since they could be good addresses! If you are on our list and didn’t get your card let me know!
  5. Cars in US Market made in China (and people didn't even notice)... Polestar (By Volvo in China) Volvo S90 Buick Envision Lincoln Nautilus SUV A friend recently got a Volvo SUV and I asked him if it was made in China.. His reply was he didn't know. My wife's friend's husband was arguing the other night that there was a $15,000 electric car coming soon from China and he wants to buy one! I mentioned the damage to the US auto industry and he said he didn't care, just cared about HIS pocket. And that's how it goes!
