  1. I've been glancing at your build every once in a while since the start... It is a very interesting WIP you have going here
  2. I just bought this kit recently, so I'll be keeping my eye out on yours as a reference Looks great so far... That air cleaner is something else!
  3. There are many great reads out there, but two of my all-time favorite novels are "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac and Ken Kesey's "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"... Another good book I've read lately is Kurt Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse 5"... "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" by Robert M. Pirsig is great if you're into philosophy... Otherwise, if looking for a good laugh, I would recommend anything by Bill Bryson
  4. I built one of these a while back for my cousin, who is a huge Fernando Alonso fan... It needs work but it can be built into a nice kit... Shame it doesn't come with tobacco sponsor decals, however... I had to get my Mild Seven decals separately What you're doing with yours looks great so far!
  5. Gorgeous car!
  6. Man, that looks slick! I too would consider going without the spear-like trim on top of the front fenders, however Great to see this car being built as something other than Christine
  7. I have the same kit, but really hate the wheels it comes with... I much better prefer your choice
  8. Turned out nice You might want to touch the hood pins up with some silver paint, however

    Opel!

Nice car! Glad AMT has reissued it
  10. Of course, I'm aware of the kit... I've been on the lookout for one for some time now... Even if it is long out of production, it is still relatively available, I've just been waiting for the right price to come along
  11. I spotted this in Salzburg, Austria this weekend... 252 made in total. Back in the 50's this car almost drove BMW into the ground because it was way too expensive at 10.000 dollars (equivalent to a Ferrari), but today it is largely sought after, even with a price tag north of half a million dollars (Bernie Ecclestone sold his for a million some time ago)... Since most of these cars were exported to the U.S., which was the original target market, they are actually quite rare in Europe. I never thought I'd see one up close, much less a regular ride!
  12. I also got one of these as a surprise in a trade recently... Still not exactly sure what I'll do with it, but I did consider going low so I'll be watching this with interest Looks good topless, and I definitely like the fuzzy dash
  13. I've been wanting to build that car for a while myself... Yours looks great so far Is that the AMT or Revell kit?
  14. Simply beautiful! Definitely the best color combo for this car Also looking forward to the Uhlenhaut
  15. Hello! Nice Stang However, to be honest, those wheels look somewhat too large under it... You might want to widen the fenders a bit and tuck them in a little As for the RB26, Hobby Design offers this: http://www.hlj.com/product/hydhd03-0214/Aut
  16. Great build! What wheels are those?
  17. My mistake... Others will work too, however
  18. Thanks Casey! That might work... And it says they ship worldwide, so that should not be a problem, but I will let you know if need be
  19. Could be some other maker, yes... But I cannot find any... Can anyone provide a link where these might be available?
  20. I'd definitely like to avoid that... I mean, the set is nice and it will be useful for one of my cars, but I really only need the grille for my other projects.
  21. Revell's 32 Ford is one of my favorite kits and I have several versions of the it in my to-do stash. I also have one complete PE set from Model Car garage, but if I remember correctly, the grille alone was also available... I'd be very interested to get several, but the problem is I can't find it anymore... Does it exist? Many thanks, MATIJA
  22. Majority of the members at UK based Scale Plastic Cars (SPC) forum build non-American vehicles such as euro, imports etc... http://scaleplasticcars.com/phpBB3/index.php?sid=841e070bec2e1805fa868be59eb15179
  23. I'd settle for either the Revell five window deuce or sedan version... Plenty of variety in either of those two
  24. Those wheels are pure works of art!
  25. Looks nice, but how come you decided to do an engine swap rather than just use the entire Revell kit? Is the Fujimi body/chassis better?
