What? If i understand your note, the "Germans" don't use the SS logo on modelcars? where is this S*** coming from?!? look at the Decals from the MonteCarlo, Camaro, Chevelle etc...never heard such trash. Sorry. This "SS" has nothing to do with the history generations before and the laws about it. It is not allowed to display right-wing extremist signs and symbols. that's all. nothing to do with the letters SS. It is a brand like all cars have.

awesome michael! hope to see it on Dec. 4th ?

i don't like the rear of the car, never was my taste - but you make an awesome job on it! Like the color, wheels, vinyl roof...all looks very good. keep up the work!

Thank you very much for your nice comments - much appreciate it. It has a special place in my collection. i bought a couple from his builts and restored them really careful (removed flaws) Dear Anton, for the weathering i used - my airbrush with white from valeo as basic on the "sunburnt" spots - next layer are colors from Schmincke Aero, i use pigment colors, they are more transparent. light and dark brown. - some rust traces i used the airbrush too or/and a pencil with the same color. - after that i use products from AK and Terpentine to have the traces of water that washes off the dirt (on the wing f.e or behind the rear wheels on the fender) . I used wintergrime, rust streaks, streaking grime, slime grime dark.

Land Rover Series III LWB - Revell

Thanks John! I will make pictures if all are done. They have to be ready end of the year. The kit is very good but imo complicated at some points. you have to choose LHD/RHD before building and follow that line. Also with the seats. Not a model to change the mind during the build. For the snow i used a Water-woodglue-Natron mixture. Natron are tablets for "anything", i need them for indigestion. i put it with a stencil on and used my airbrush for light dust -
Land Rover Series III LWBRevell , 1/24 , KitNr. 07047 the idea of a Land Rover buildoff with our modelling collegues was born, as the kit launched and nearly all of us had on bought. To see the different ideas (f.e. my brothers Shorty) is the fun part.I always had this in mind...snorchel, rooftent, sparetire on the hood, bumperbars and winch. that was my wish list - well thought. The color has to be sand with black. I was not sure to place it in the desert or snow...it ended up to try how to make the snow and it worked out great (in my opinion).I'm really pleased with the result, only a base needs to be build...in progress....some days...if my "important" projects are finished.

1969 Dodge Charger DaytonaRevell , 1/25 , KitNr.85-4910 This Charger (and a couple more models) i bought from a collegue. he past away and i wanted some of his builts as memories to him.as it was delivered, parts were fallen apart and the rear window fell out as well. i had no chance, to disassemble, was glued very strong. so i decided, to weather it. some flat tires and thats it. I made this on the day i weathered my Edsel. So the missing rear window in minor matter now. While i write this sentences i think about to cover the rear window with foil and tape ?...and it rests on a diorama of mine.

oh my godness...is there no insurance from the postal office? that is, why i send all my models with it. keep it up the hard work to rescue it!

rebuilds are always interesting and shows, how your skills growed. both looking amazing now! i like the camaro. looks way better with the grill and wheels. the changed wheels on the Firebird suits him better now.
