  1. Don, Most of us know that resin casting is a lot of work for not a lot of money, and most have patience to wait for products from cottage industry businesses. 6-8 weeks is reasonable and standard, a half a year is excessive. If you really told him you wouldn't send the rest of the order until the pics were removed, that won't look good for you if someone Googles RR and this thread pops up. The best thing for you to do is send the order with delivery confirmation, and mention it here in the thread in case the OP does not say that he got it. It will be late, but it will illustrate that the order was filled, and the matter is closed. -MJS
  2. Ouch! (I like your style) Here's my original issue '67. -MJS
  3. The only non-'66 things I see are the instrument cluster, and the stripe/fender emblems aren't exact if it's a GT, and for a non-GT, there should be the rear 1/4 panel trim ornaments in the coves. BUT, none of that matters here, it's just a beautiful build and a killer color combination. -MJS
  4. Ain't no Binder, that's a Fargo. -MJS
  5. I just got their Twinsonic light bar and Mustang II Cobra transkit, and I thought I was looking at kit parts. GREAT company. -MJS
  6. That car will be worth a ten year bump. -MJS
  7. Beautiful, and the first time I've seen that style Nova as a pillarless hardtop. Looks great to the detail. -MJS
  8. A wrapped one just sold on ebay for $42.02. -MJS
  9. The Boss 302 is faster on a track than a new M3. And that's with the Conestoga wagon axle. We don't need no girly IRS to beat the world. -MJS
  10. It's powered by a 1000hp+ turbo four cylinder, making it by far the fastest 4 banger car in the world. And it looks cool, too. -MJS
  11. The '90 Cougar has the V6/T5, the '91 Cougar has the 5.0/AOD. The Thunderbird/Cougar have the correct 3.8 V6 for the Mustang the Ranger/Explorer has the older Cologne V6 - different engine. The 3.8 has a nice block, heads, and valve covers which can be used as is, the intake, coil packs, etc, will have to be fabbed. -MJS
  12. That's one giant snowmobile the Winnebago is towing... -MJS
  13. OMGNA'62Falcongasserwith'60hood,grille,andfrontbumperthread! -MJS
  14. Never to a model, but I once did it to an old digital camera that failed on some important pictures. I took it out to the shop and hurled it on the concrete floor as hard as I could, and naturally, it flew into a thousand pieces. I then saw the circuit board, figured I'd give it a closer look, and picked it up by the charged flash capacitor - sending a hell of a shock all the way up my right arm. The thing got me back! -MJS
  15. The Maybach 57 Coupe conversion is one million dollars US, taxes included. Driving one around doesn't so much speak of ones' taste, but rather that the owner probably has more money than many small countries. -MJS
  16. I put in a bid on something... -MJS
  17. I did the LHS rounds today, they and Michael's are both around $5.50 for Testors spray. Nobody had the price out for Tamiya spray, and no one has a decent selection either, so I didn't bother to ask. -MJS
  18. I'll never complain about a glue bomb again, my glue bombs look mint in the box compared to these two post-apocalyptic foxes. -MJS
  19. That Hudson is fantastic! What is the engine, early Hemi? -MJS
  20. I have one too, it was raided for a few parts - I used the dash and door panels in a '64 Mercury - but everything else is there. I'd need another one for the interior parts, and someday it may happen. I've never seen a nice replica stock built from one of these. -MJS
  21. That sounds like Jeremy Clarkson, when he's talking about American cars. -MJS
