  1. It doesn't work that way. A 1:18 diecast doesn't weigh 200 lbs, does it? -MJS
  2. Beautiful Larry Watson style paint work on the 'Bird. -MJS
  3. Following this one all the way. -MJS
  4. I'm diggin' this digger. -MJS
  5. Wouldn't it get out of range pretty fast? -MJS
  6. Same kit in a different box. They have been virtually identical since the '70s "Classic" reissue. -MJS
  7. I built that one in the early '80s, painted dark metallic blue with the wire wheels from the Monogram Corvette America kit. Looked fantastic, I want another one. -MJS
  8. Bet he was popular that day. -MJS
  9. I agree, a spectacular build of the most proportionate Skyliner of the three years. -MJS
  10. I've got the police Explorer, and absolutely no idea what to do with it. -MJS
  11. I'm not exactly a 1%er, but I can do an occasional splurge. -MJS
  12. Not today, but within the last two weeks: Been looking for one for years when this showed up on ebay. Threw a crazy bid at it, and got it on a four second snipe. I had to have it. It was still factory wrapped until it got to my bench. -MJS
  13. I've been using Chrometech for over 15 years, and Bob is the best anywhere. He's a model builder, so he knows exactly what to do, and the end result will be better than any Italeri chrome you've seen. If you're not comfortable properly stripping the tree, let him do it. -MJS
  14. Just do a Google image search for '87-'91 F-250/F-350 pickups, and you're sure to find examples of the color scheme you want. -MJS
  15. I lived in Phoenix when that movie was filmed. It's wild how some of the areas that they raced through were almost completely undeveloped then, but are unrecognizable now. The chase through the state fair grounds was really cool, because that place looks exactly the same today. -MJS
  16. Don, Most of us know that resin casting is a lot of work for not a lot of money, and most have patience to wait for products from cottage industry businesses. 6-8 weeks is reasonable and standard, a half a year is excessive. If you really told him you wouldn't send the rest of the order until the pics were removed, that won't look good for you if someone Googles RR and this thread pops up. The best thing for you to do is send the order with delivery confirmation, and mention it here in the thread in case the OP does not say that he got it. It will be late, but it will illustrate that the order was filled, and the matter is closed. -MJS
  17. Ouch! (I like your style) Here's my original issue '67. -MJS
  18. The only non-'66 things I see are the instrument cluster, and the stripe/fender emblems aren't exact if it's a GT, and for a non-GT, there should be the rear 1/4 panel trim ornaments in the coves. BUT, none of that matters here, it's just a beautiful build and a killer color combination. -MJS
  19. Ain't no Binder, that's a Fargo. -MJS
  20. I just got their Twinsonic light bar and Mustang II Cobra transkit, and I thought I was looking at kit parts. GREAT company. -MJS
