    I'm currently working on 3 at this time. I can work on one while waiting on parts to dry on another or if I'm making some details. Currently the Monogram Triumph TR7 curbside, AMT 1955 Chevy Stepside pickup and an AMT Plymouth Prowler.

    Just finished this one today. Italeri Lamborghini Diablo, from a Testors set. It was a fun kit, made more so since the instructions were with the Porsche. It's in my stash, somewhere. The wheels were a mess, so they got stripped and sprayed with Duplicolor universal chrome. Pretty happy with it.

    Washi tape is a paper based tape from Japan that comes in a LOT of patterns. The ones I got were a light birch pattern and more of a maple or oak woodgrain. It took me a couple of tries to get it right. I originally tried to trim out the darker parts on the kit and ended up pulling a chunk of paint out. Had to strip and repaint the whole thing. The ones I used worked well over Wimbledon white basecoat. I'll post some more pics later.

    Just finished this one yesterday. This is the Revell kit, mostly box stock. I added some sand on the interior and a couple of beer cans (was going to put in a bikini, but couldn't find one to scale). The surfboard and the rack are handmade. Couldn't get the tie-downs to work without tearing the lugs off. :) The woodgrain is Washi tape, I used it like BMF.

    I use their acrylics and they work well. I rate them much better than the Testors Acryl line.

    Got in a large can of Chrysler Sublime Green spray paint. I'm gonna try it out tomorrow to make sure I don't get any crazy results with the plastic. If it works out, I can finish my Superbird.

    Just got in a '59 Cadillac Eldorado Seville kit. It needs a windshield and tires, but is otherwise complete.

    I do a lot of brush painting, typically everything but the body on my cars gets brushed over spray primer. I agree with the others above: keep your paint thin. I use acrylics, mostly Revell, Testors (when I can find them) and Citadel/Games Workshop. Craft paints can work well too. I'll typically brush on a thin smooth coat and let it dry thoroughly, then once dry go over it with another coat.

    Got in a Testors/Italeri 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II, brand new in the box and was still sealed with the Toys R Us tag still on it.

    Whatever I can get my meat hooks on. I might park one, once in a while, but I'll come back to it eventually. Especially once my skills can deal with it. Working on the 1/1400 Galaxy Class Enterprise (NCC-1701 D) right now, and also knocking the ugly off the Californian kit.

    Got a 3D printed Akira class starship in from Ebay. Needs a little sanding, but if it builds up as nicely as the Kyushu and Stargazer, I'll be happy.

    Nope, last two were from the LHS. I've tried ordering direct from BMF, but that didn't help.

    Built the Italeri/Testors 1933 Cadillac V16 Town Car. It's a fun kit, but keep in mind the main body is a multi-piece assembly. I found it easier to put the main part of the body together so I could sand/paint in one piece. I'll post pics as soon as I can.

    Another bad sheet of BMF. I can't seem to get anything that works. There are places on the new sheet where it's visibly not even stuck to the backing paper. I ended up sending a complaint to the company. I won't hold my breath for a reply.
