  1. I've looked through the instructions for the Lancia Stratos from that series. The level of detail on it was mind-boggling. I'd love to have one, but at about $300 I think I'll pass.
  2. Definitely paint. I can do interiors, but for some reason I can't get a decent paint job to save my soul.
  3. Aoshima's kind of a tease about having separate hoods, but no engine. Had an RX-7 that was that way. Kinda disappointing.
  4. Very nice. Looks really good with the new wheels.
  5. What if Packard had survived?
  6. Man....the cost of mine would double or triple just for the amount of material.
  7. Got the Skip's Fiesta 427 Corvette for 13.75. Not bad.
  8. Escale model forums used to have a lot more foreign cars, but they fell victim to the same malware as the MCM forum did. Every time I try to go back there, it shows as a malware site now.
  9. I get quite a bit of my stuff from Ebay. I've got a "Skip's Drive In" Corvette coming in today. You can get REALLY good deals on some "lots" of kits. Especially the Tamiya kits.
  10. I've got one of the Mach 1 kits. The body shape is okay, It'll make a decent curbside. The interior is not great, the dash is really bad. Overall, I've seen better. You can definitely tell it was originally made to be motorized.
  11. Nifty! I'd love to see how one of those turns out.
  12. I'd take any of those. Did anyone make the Horizon or Omni 4 door hatchbacks? Even an Omni O24 would be cool.
  13. Very nice! Outstanding paint job.
  14. That's WILD! I love it.
  15. Beautiful work. Looks excellent.
  16. I'd like to find all 3 of these. Especially the Stratos.
  17. I had to adjust the front of the dash on mine until it fit.
  18. AMT 2006 Camaro on clearance from Hobby Lobby for $10.79. full detail kit, too.
  19. My uncle used to do stuff like that. he got a hold of a pair of Volvos at one point, one was a rear end collision, the other had front end damage. A little cutting and splicing later and he had a car that was half blue, half white.
  20. Probably about once a month. Depends on what I need, or if I have a coupon burning a hole in my pocket. Last thing I got from there was a 70 Plymouth Road Runner for about $12. They have great clearance sales.
  21. The two that were in Portsmouth are long dead. The Scioto Breeze still has the screens, but the main building has been razed. the Jonda Lou in Wheelersburg has long since been plowed under and is now a Lowes. I used to love going to the drive-in.
  22. Bought from them several times, no issues ever. Even with stuff that's backordered, they tend to take care of it quickly.
  23. That's an... Interesting... exhaust setup. I hope they would put some kind of shielding over that.
  24. Either the Accurate Miniatures Corvette Grand Sport for $8 or 2 Tamiya Ferrari Mythos kits for $15.
