  1. Then WHY does it have GTX written on the lower quarter panel, just behind the door? The other sport satellites you posted don't have that trim on them. Just sayin.......
  2. DWC, That's NOT a 69 Satillite like Brians building. What you have there is a 68 GTX. Satellites did NOT have the stripe down the side, nor the GTX written on the lower fender or the scooped hood like that one has . Brian, I think the 69 Satellites had the same rear taillights as a GTX, not like the ones on the Road Runner. They had DIFFERENT taillights, and a different grille. The 69 GTX and 69 Satellites shared alot of the same body trim, but there WERE very slight differences between them. Just google that rascal to see what I'm talkin about.
  3. Hey, watever turns you on.
  4. Will it count if I did it a second time? Even watchin it for a second time,I thought it was VERY well done, and quite informative
  5. Not to worry,Jurg, even a lousy paint job from you, is BETTER than ALOT of guys GOOD paint jobs(including mine!)
  6. What, ya din't gouge out chunks of it with a hot knife? Didja drop it a coupla times? No brush strokes visable on it?(other than that chrome trim?) Yeesh at least when YOU build a "just for fun" kit, it comes out ALOT better'n SOME peoples. I STILL don't understand what all that other mess was about,REGARDLESS of how many people thought it was"cool"
  7. WoW, Brian, considering what you started with it came out GREAT! Did you actually reconstruct the A-Pillar on the driver side out of BONDO???? WoW, THAT was a trick! if you'da filed off the hood scoops it REALLY would looked like a stock Satellite. It came out GREAT Daddy-O, VERY nice build!
  8. Heck yeah, Welcome home,Davearino!!!
  9. UUUUUGH, Chuck, Is that YOU, or Jerry Cantrell???? Oh, and WHO IS Jerry cantrell??????
  10. Not bad at all, Steve! in fact it's downright NICE Daddy-O! I actually have 2 of those, AND got the proper interiors from Revell from them. Just send the UPC codes from the side of the box an they'll send 'em to ya. Great job so far,an I likes the color! It'll REALLY look sharp with the white C-strip your talkin about!
  11. Bill, they ALL look good, even the unfinished Charger! Can I assume, the '57 not withstanding, that BLUE MIGHT be a favorite color? regardless, they're ALL nice! Thanks for posten them rascals.
  12. WoW,Bruce, I must say I had my doubts when I first saw this rascal, but you've brought it along beautifully! It ACTUALLY LOOKS like a Cougar! GREAT conversion! Too bad the guys at Ford aren't as style concious as YOU! It's lookin GOOD so far Daddy-O, Keep it up!
  13. Great Video! The guys built some NICE lookin models! 1/8th is a bit too large for my taste(too big to fit on my shelves) but they DO make some nice lookin rods! I STILL gotta few of them sittin around, maybe I SHOULD give 'em a shot!
  14. HOLY CATS!!!! This is the first time I've EVER seen this build! Jeeze Mike,It actually looks like your building THE REAL THING! I'm simply dumbfounded! Please keep us updated on your progress, this is simply amazing to me!
  15. Brent, who ever told you that your car was a 65 sure didn't know WHAT they were talkin about. The car you posted is a 67. Plain an simple. ANYONE who tells you different DOESN'T know the difference!
  16. Monograms 1/8th model is a 79/81 model, Thats a 70 /73 Firebird.
  17. Sounds good ta me Rick, GO for it ! BTW is that the 24th Monogram kit,or a original MPC ? looks like the Mono.
  18. Wazza matta U Al??? Me own belobed grandma tol me I was frickin Mexican! i even know how ta maka Pizza Tacos!!! How much more i gotta be ta knows THAT? Don't make me come ovetchur house an make YOU one!! Badda Bing, YOUR a Taco Pizza!

  20. VERRRY NICE! I like the use of different shades in the engine compartment! The detail is very convincing!
  21. Charlie, watch wat you say, caz Nigel can come up with some PRETTY nutty stuff!!! And I mean that in a GOOD way,Nige!!!
  22. I GOTTA agree with EVERYONE else, THAT is the COOOOLEST NON car Model I've seen inna LOOOONG time! It's just TOOOO COOL!!!!!
  23. Rick, remember that those were unibody cars, and the engine compartment WAS a part of the front chassis. Your gonna have to fill in the gap between the chassis an lower engine compartment to be accurate. I'm surprised that the AMT EC fit the Monogram kit so well, being as how they are both different scales.
  24. I gotta go with MODEL. Probably Otaki's 1/12 scale Firebird. It sits TOO high to have any weight to it. Again, I say, MODEL.
  25. Hey, a different pic! Who said you wasn't a modeler? Here's PROOF POSITIVE!!! Looks like ya was buildin the Monogram 66 flip front Chevelle. How'd it come out? You GO girl!!!!
