Actually, I THINK it means Nameless Notable Luminaries. This was the first type of NON competative contest type gathering of freinds/builders. It all started in Tom's garage, an just grew from there. I met Tom last year,and he was there again this year,runnin the T-Shirt sales again. Anyways, some other VERY notable builders were invited to that 1st meeting, and didn't attend, for whatever reason, so Tom an his crew, as a joke, jus named the meet, the NNL. At least that's how I was led to understand it. One of the other guys would know better than me,I'm sure.

No doubt Bob, you WERE missed! But, like ya said, there's always NEXT year, an I'll sure as he--'ll be there! PLUS it's alot easier ta get to for me, in it's new location!!! See ya FOR SURE next year Bro!!

OUTSTANDING job!!!! It really did come out GREAT!!! Great color, even if I never saw one in that shade! The blacked out hood, an the side glass surround black out are EXCELLENTLY done!!! You sure did your homework on thiis and it SHOWS!!! GREAT BUILD!

Ed, I saw this same car,up close an all personal like, an it was NICE!!! Just like ALL the Links stuff, it's cast inna flawless white resin that looks an feels like styrene! The lines are spot on, an most of all, it LOOKS like a Big Ol Ford LTD!!! If guys are into service vehicles,(Cop cars,Taxi's Fire Cheif cars) This'll be one ta get! Heck I'm not into service vehicles,but I'm gonna get one just caz it's COOL!!!

Guys, I just got home from the NNL'S! It was GREAT! Not quite as large as last year,but it was STILL cool! They were at new diggs this year and it wasn't as big as last years area, but there were ALOT of models just the same! I DID run into Randy Kern after all! He's a cool dude,an Nick F-40's Dad! I met Ted"chopper"Lear, REAL nice guy,an rather humble,I was impressed with him. Got tameet Lyle Willits,an talk some with him too. Bob Black didn't get ta make it, so no one organized a group photo, so Ya'll still don't know what I look like!(lucky you's) Naturally I don't have pic's. Well yeah. I do got some,but ya'll know the drill. BUT Pat Redmond took some pics,an Lyle was too, so hopefully you guys'll get ta see just how nice it really was. I had a GREAT time, even if The Big Kahuna an my 2 wes coas bro's couldn't make it,it was STILL a GREAT time! Hope ta meet/see MORE of you guys NEXT year!!!!!

Bud's a member of our club, Downriver Model Car Club. I've only known him for a year, this month being my 1st full year with them. He's ALWAYS been good to me. He was at last months club meeting with Mrs.Bud, he was lookin tired then,but in good spirits. I'm prayin for him.

Fella's I was lookin at a map from google, an instead of comin in down 75 from Deeetroit, what yas think bout comin into Sylvania down 23???? I can catch BOTH I 75 AND I 94 from my house, And I go 94 to 23 to go to Milan Dragway, So, Anybody got any ideas? I jus don't like all the interchange B/S ya gotta go thru in Toledo. I'd rather go a less hectic route, even if it is a little longer. I won't get there till the time the NNL opens,caz I'm not too interested in the toy show. Ed, This bad boy came out GREAT!!! Ya need ta put a big ol 500 gallon bulk oil tank over in the background,so's my buddy Frank can put oil in his ol 64 T-bird! Won't say it burned oil, but it sure USED ALOT of it! It only cost about 20 cents a quart back then!!!! Great Job,Ed, it looks PERFECT!!!(I REALLY liked the WRAPPED tires! WHEN was the last time we saw THAT!!!)

My wifes best girlfreind had a 70 Challenger in yellow with those bubbles in various colors along the upper belt line(where the R/T stripes would normally go) we called it the party car. some of her freinds called it the Circus Train, but after she'd kicked there a$$es with that bad a$$ed 440, they just called it FAST!!! I've NEVER seen it done since,till now. Brings back ALOT of good memories! Your looks like fun too, bet it's got a Big Block, jus ta shut the losers up!!!

Are you talking about Steve Kohler???? If he says he mailed them, he mailed them!!! Why you haven't gotten them is anybody's guess, But Steve's service is the BEST!!! He ALWAYS lets me know when he's sent my order, he's NEVER not kept his word to me, and I PERSONALLY don't know of a better guy to deal with! I'm sorry this has happened to you, it must be due to the postal systems of BOTH our countrys but as far as Steve is concerned, he one of the BEST resin dealers I've EVER dealt with. I would NEVER worry about him not coming thru for me, or trying to cheat me. He's JUST NOT LIKE THAT. Like I said, I am sorry this happened to you, but I DON'T think it was his fault. Hopefully you can get this resolved.

I'd never seen one of these kits built till last months club meeting. One of our members has a lil gold Anglia, an sittin on his aircleaner was a lil gold model of it all racey lookin an such. It was cool to see it sittin there, burnin rubber of his aircleaner. they look pretty cool once they're done. at least his did!

Jim, that outfit is run by Summit Auto Supply. They'll send you one if you order anything from them(Summit) I been gettin them for quite a while. They got really neet T-Shirts in the back of the catalog. I usually get me 2 T-shirts for Christmas from my wife! She's been doin it for so long, they NOW send her one too!!
