Now for this build, You put in a parking brake handle that can function? if you can find that thin stretchable cord that's sold at craft stores, maybe you could hook up some E-brake lines to LOOK like they set when you pull up on the handle! Anyways, this bad boy looks like it's comin along right nicely! Hope ya don't loose wats left of the ol noggin afore ya finish it!

Guys, is anyone else haveing this problem? When I log onto them, I get the first page, the one that says"Welcome to Drag City Castings" but there's NO way to access the website!. There's the addy to a guy who prints decals for some of the kits, but that's all. Even my little pointy hand DOESN'T come up when I put it on a picture, like it normally does!. I even PM'd Ed to see if he was still in buisness and he said yes, that he didn't /wasn't haveing any problems with the site,and asked if something may be wrong at my end. I don't know. All I DO know is I can't get on www.dragcitycastings.com . Even when you guys put it in here for me to just click on, it only goes to that first page,an Duhhh.... Like it doesn't exist! Anyone else havein a problem,or is it just ME on a Monday???

Marshall, I have a tool that's used for bending Photo-Etched stuff. It looks like I MIGHT be able to use it on the box. At least it LOOKS like I could use it. I'll hafta give it a shot. Oh, But 1st, I'd probly lightly score it with an sharp Exacto knife so it wouldn't stress the paper so much. Make sense?

WoW Manuel, that thing is REALLY far out there! It remindes me of those old Classy rides Popeye used to take Olive Oyl to the Royal Balls in! Really like the roof treatment.Wouldn'ta known it was a 66 Riv roof if ya handn't told me.NICE conversion job! Those small strakes on the roof,and the filled in 1/4 windows are perfect! GREAT JOB Daddy-O!!

Pete, that AMT kit IS the old 1/26th scale MPC kit. It IS underscaled,so was MPC's 70 Mustang. AMT's ORIGINAL ANNUAL kit was 1/25th, and VERY accuratley detailed. The 70 is nice too. Only when Revell bought out their 69 CJ Mustang did this car get the REAL detail moulding it deserved! Too bad the grille areas a little flat, but,hey, it can be fixed,and it IS a REAL NICE kit!

All I can do is AGREE with everyone else Dave, It's a GREAT build. I particulaly like the seats. Are those decals you used to get that pattern? They sure look GOOD! As does the rest of the car!

I thought Revell had a 53/54 Chevy kit. I think it's a post sedan.Welp, I just checked an yep they make one. It's got both year grilles and taillight assemblys. Actually it's been around for quite awhile. There's a Panel Delivery Van version too.
