  1. New added Photo's of what is in the box that will be in search of a new home.
  2. Someone sure liked the Dodge BP Tow truck, When I bought these there was three of the tow trucks. I switched out the one I had since the roof light and hook were missing for the best one of the three. I also switched out the crane that I had for the better looking one since the one I had is missing it's hook, and also switched out for the Cadillac S&S ambulance. I had the benz ambulance which is missing the back door. There were 26 Vintage Matchbox vehicles that I won on ebay. Plus one hot wheels that isn't as old.
  3. I Just got these through the USPS Via E-bay. Bought for just under $2.00 each with the shipping included in the final cost per matchbox vehicle . The ones in the box are extra's that I added a couple to from replacing them in my personal collection. The ones in the box will be traded or ??????
  4. Thought about that as well, but the hot rod won out for some reason. I am a factory stock build kind of guy. I just decided to go old school hot rod with the white wall tires. The front sports narrow white wall's while the rear has the wider ones.
  5. Remember, Only You can prevent forest fires- Smokey the bear......
  6. Built from the 4 in one woody/pickup amt kit. So It's a 5 in one now!
  7. Your welcome. Funny I was ten years old when that commercial aired, and I still remember it quite well. That and the fact my youngest sister was born that year. My mother had some kind of odd thing when to having all 6 of us. My eldest sister 1961, Older Brother 1963, Middle sister 1965, Me 1967, my youngest brother 1975,and last was my younger sister. the first four of us were all two years apart from one another, Then 8 years passed then again a two years apart for the end.
  8. That would be Chffon margarine Circa 1977. Tag line was It's not nice to fool Mother Nature.
  9. On June 3 2023 I say good bye to my 2004 Chevrolet Malibu . Trading it in for a clean 2009 Impala LT which will be done on the 3rd. Though the Malibu still runs/drives great with just under 205,000 miles on it , But because the airbag light stays on now plus the jack points are rotted off on the rear it was time to let it go. I actually am getting the Impala from the same used car seller so the Malibu will get resold by him (car looks much the same as when I bought it about 3 years ago.
  10. Sorry but I won't because.....
  11. I did the same last year at the US 127 Garage sales at the Van Wert fair grounds. I Bought two totes full of builts that needed put back together. On the truck side I got The Paystar logger w/trailer, Paystar dump truck, Original 4070 a, Transtar 4200, Kenworth K123, Kenworth W900, White Freightliner COE, Plus the Monogram Mack A/C Texaco tanker, and Mack A/C stakebed truck. I need to find one of those S-series trucks, But the unbuilts on ebay tend to go for more than I can pay.
  12. Van Wert Ohio (which is where I live)
  13. Nice haul with those IH trucks! The orange one is the Paystar 5000 logger. I wish I could fine the S-Series rig that cheap!
  14. I stopped at our Wal-Mart here in town for an oil change on the 04 Malibu. To my surprise they had a fresh display of MODEL'S! I spent $105.00 on these which includes a auto world 1/64 1970 Impala! which more than likely would have been closer to $250 if I bought the same models at the hobby shop in Fort Wayne Ind. Last time I was in that shop the amt display cases were close to $20.00 each!

  17. Went to Hobby Lobby for some evergreen polystyrene rod, and found the freshly issued 2021 Charger kit. It was the only one they had. Odd thing being I was at this same store Monday and I know it wasn't there then. Cheaper than the Hobby shop had it priced when I was in Ft.Wayne Ind on Tuesday!
  18. Well I just got an Original issue Built one that needs fixed and put back together. Original box is beat up, but also has the decal sheet/instructions with it. The OB never put the decals on the car. Dated 5-72 on the back of the decals. Paid $5.00 for it and it also has some parts from a '74 duster (front Bumper, grill, and engine along with the instruction sheet and plastic badge.
  19. Found out that the Mercury wagon has the trailer that was issued with it just minus the race car, and the spare tires on the Mercury's roof. The Yellow Truck is a Wyandotte which went defunct in 1957. The red hot rod is also Matchbox as well. The Aircraft carrier is Matchbox sea kings, and the green Ford bronco tootsie toys. The road block piece is part of a DOH set. No info on the cycle though.
  20. I went to a local flea market which is only on the first Sunday of the month. No real model kit's but some nice deals on some other Toy's. The Ertl F-14 tomcat, Matchbox carrier, the yellow plastic truck, bike, and hot rod in a bag $5.00, The JL Ford Torino 1/24 scale $5.00. The buch of toys with the Matchbox super king Mercury wagon in a bag $5.00. 1/18 VW from saloto was $5.00 as was the Ertl 1/25 die cast Vette.
  21. AT the Wal Mart here in Van wert they are at the front of the store off of the pharmacy, and across from the seasonal candy/holiday items which is easter items at this time. they are close the front entrence area at this store. You may have to ask an employee though at you local store..
  22. Wal-Mart has stackable storage cases for $5.00 each. They fit 1/25 CAMARO"S, Corvette's, Trans Am, Super sports cars and cars of that size..
  23. Between working on the '68 GTO, and the '80 Monte Carlo's I have also been building this '63 Impala Convertible from the recent reissued kit. It still needs finished with mirrors and the body badges as well.
  24. 80 Monte Carlo Pinty plus Fire red/Chassis Matt black, '68 GTO Traffic Blue, 80 Monte Carlo Matt black Interior/and chassis
  25. Mid 1980's ERTL did just that , International Harvester 9670 COE with tilting cab, and full detail engine, They also had a Ford 9000 Coe as well as a AMT Ford 9000 Conventional. There was also a Volvo N-10 that was issued as a Coca Cola Hauler that is full detail with opening hood.
