So if it all comes from Germany now then it will cost more as Revell of Germany product were always higher priced than the Revell USA kit's Even if they were the same car ect in a different box. I found the '05 Impala police car on scale hobbyist (ROG Copy) list price $39.95 sale price of $31.95 while the Revell USA copies are under $20.00 on Amazon, Ebay and a few other vendors!

The Valiant is a '64 AMT craftsman. The Johan will not be re-done, The 1925 Ford's the hot rod is built while the other '25 hasn't been touched, The '25 ford's are molded in black , the instuction sheet is quite yellowed with age So they are late 1960's issue I think.

I went to my Favorite place that's local to where I live and came home with all these! 3 of these I traded some toy's to get, and some Hayne's auto repair books for , And the fourth kit I paid $15.00 for Now Guess which one cost me $15.00 :-)

The kit was part of a AMT value Pack, And I used some parts from a 66 Chevelle wagon :and 67 Chevelle to Complete the build. I didn't use the rims or tires supplied with the Kit either! I used the intake manifold, fan and belt's, Carb, and alt from a parts 66 Chevelle wagon the rims came from a 67 Chevelle. The seat belts came from another AMT kit but I don't know which one. Paint is Dupli Color For GM Cars.

Just about completed (headlights/tail lights need put in ) other wise it is done. I put the siren under the hood like Ohio state had done to their cars in '57....

Don't get me wrong here I like the Tri Five Chevrolets, But I wonder why Revell hasn't made the '56 Bel-air rag top? They done the Convertibles for 55 and 57 yet skipped 56. Does any model company make a 1/25 '56 Chevy Convertible? I know that Franklin mint made them, But I'd like to see them in plastic really!

Yes on the trunk, And no on the hood. The hood hinges that comes in the kit are not operational as they are for an open hood only.

Just finished up Another "retooled" AMT '57 Chevrolet. This copy has been done in Sea Grass green / Ivory to match the solid sea grass green copy I built a few months back.

I have been working on a few '57 Chevrolet's, And while the "Coca-Cola" car needs another decal for the drivers door I'm still working on other parts of it. The second '57 is a AMT retooled copy which was supposed to be a Coca Cola car. Coca-Cola would more than likely bought and use the 150 Utility sedan.

When I bought the Motor Max '58 the Chrome side trim didn't look like chrome at all, And the car had no "carpet" ect. So I Molowtoed the Chrome trim, Used blue embossing powder for the carpet: and Black washed the grill, hub caps as well as paint the spare tire. I also painted the inside window cranks/door handles, as well as the engine bottom and pipes.

Dave, I think you maybe right about being cloned as the chrome side moldings are cast on the Motor max copy. My plan is to take it apart, and add "carpeting" to the interior. I also will go over the "chrome strips with a Molotow marker!

Did motor max get part of the dies to make from Danbury mint for their 58 Impala? or made their dies from one of DM's 58's ? The reason I ask this is that under the hood the shaft and hook ends of posiable steering in the engine room. Plus the trunk also opens on the Motor max '58 impala as well. Anyone know anything about this diecast? Also the copy I bought is the same color blue with dark blue interior like the Danbury mint copy
