  1. Nice M.A.S.H. unit you got there Mark. What scale did you build it in? Great stuff fer sure. Dan
  2. Weathering can be a lot of fun fer sure. I enjoy doing that. I'd like to see some pics of the MASH unit when you get that finished. Dan
  3. Thanks Mark and I can't wait to see what you come up with next. This truck is a dump truck. If you like, there are more pics in my photobucket of it. Again, nice job on your truck. Did the wheels and tires you used come in the same kit? I think that I'm going to try and find one of those Dodges at some of the shows that I go to even if it is a bad kit. Dan
  4. WOW, I don't know how I missed this build. Great job. Very nice weathering job and it looks just right. I like the name of your business fer sure. I have a hauling business with a similar but a tad bit different name. Great minds think alike fer sure. Dan
  5. Real nice Bonnie fer sure Gluhead. I love the color. I finished a 65 Grand Prix that I started way back in 65 just this year. I love these 60's Ponchos'. You did yours proud fer sure. Two thumbs up fer sure. Dan
  6. I'm not sure what that was used for. I hope that someone can come up with the answer. Dan
  7. OOps, I fergot that the hood was painted. My bad. I can remove this ifin ya like. Just let me know. Dan
  8. Ya know, I don't know if this will be correct but I added a couple drops of flat black in a bottle of thinner and sprayed it over the rust and body to take off the shine from the plastic and the rust. I used Sophisticated Finishes rusting process and the rust had some shine to it and I wanted to get rid of that and that's the reason I sprayed over the whole body. Anyway, here is a pic of the car. Most of ya have seen it before, it's muh 49 Ford coupe that I restored from a glue bomb that it was. The color of the car is the bare plastic by the way. I hope this is Ok, if not I'll remove the pic. Dan
  9. This is just plain AWESOME Bryan, and yep, you dated yerself. But guess what? I just dated myself with the answer. Dan P.S. By the way, I love the bungee cord.
  10. Here are four of the cars that I've owned. A 1970 Chevelle, 1971 Nova, 1974 Camaro and my most favorite one a 1959 Impala. I don't have any pics of the 1:1 cars or ones of others that I've owned. Dan
  11. Thanks Steve. It does have the V6 in it with some go power I guess. :D But yours looks a lot better fer sure. Dan
  12. Man Bryan, each time I look at this build I'm liking it more and more. Great job so far. Dan
  13. That color sure does look good on it. Mine has Testors little bottle paint airbrushed on it. It's just the metallic red over black. Well, here it is. Nothing perfect but a good shelf model. Dan
  14. Real nice Opel Steve. I like the color you chose. I just restored one glue bomb. I painted it a metallic red and put K&S Pittman decals on it. If you'd like I can post a pic of it. Dan
  15. I hope you have better luck than I did. I think that I have a resin copy of the VW in the circle for the front and if you come to the meeting I'll bring it with me fer ya. Dan
  16. Brian, is that the VW van? If it is, I built one many years ago and I didn't like it. The reason is the multi piece body and I couldn't build it stock. It has a stupid CB with a round circle around it on the front of the body where the VW would normally be. You get big and little wheels for it which I would have liked the VW wheels instead. The engine is ok but that's about it. Oh, and the opening doors don't fit to well either. Just my thoughts on the kit. Dan
  17. Well, one of the worst ones was the Revell 71 'Cuda. That thing fought me every which-a-way until I got it finished. Even the decal on the rear fenders fought me. I almost gave up on it, but I persevered. I said a new word fer me (persevered) Dan
  18. Great. I hope that you can make it. We meet in the room on the left when you come in the door. We have it reserved every first Thursday of the month. Hope ta see ya there. Dan
  19. You know Brian, the price kept me away from the Trumpeter kits in the first place, but I hear they weren't very good from other people. The Pontiac convertible was Ok, but the hard top was way off with the top. The Nova coupe was Ok but the convertible windshield was wrong, to tall. Now you and others have said the Monti is bad. To bad for Trumpeter I think. I do have both of the Nova's and I'm going to try and sell them at the Zanesville model show later this month. On another note, would you be interested in coming to the Buckeye Scale Auto clubs meeting this coming Thursday? We meet at Panera's in Westerville on Rt.3 and Maxtown Rd.starting at 7 PM. I get there around 5 PM. You're welcome to come and have a good time. Dan
  20. Great. Now I hope that my Walmart has them in stock. Thanks for the information. That looks great on your Ford. Dan
  21. What scale is it Rick? If it's 1/25th I want one or two if I can find it at our Wallmart. It looks good to me. Dan
  22. Ain't you guys never seen a white chevelle out in a snow storm? It's settin right in the middle of the pic, I see it. Dan
  23. Well, I tried to find an old picture but didn't have much luck. Here are two from when I was on Okinawa back in the late 60's. One is with a friend who was killed on Okinawa at my Datsun and the other is me in a Jeep. These are the oldest ones that I could find. Dan
  24. Nice job of building this from the custom Vette. I have that custom one and I have one of the Mako Shark II kits that I'm going to rebuild. I built it when I was a kid and I never painted it, so it should be kinda easy to rebuild. I hope that I can get as good a paint job as you did on this one. Great job. Dan
  25. WOW Bryan, that's great. Where did you get the mesh? Looks a lot better than the original. Dan
