  1. Didnt the monogram cord model have a v12 motor in it ? I built it years ago and i remember something about a big motor in that .

  7. G,day , here's some photo's i took about 12 years ago of the black 57 chevy from the movie . She's was in bad nick then , the motor and blower was takin out and put in a 55 chevy i heard . I don't know whats in it now . [l]

  9. Gee , if the prices of their diecast products is anything to go by you better start saving mega for these . In australia coe's are used for their tight turning circles and length regulations in the float industry .
  10. I dont think you could do that , it's only like that because the tyre is too small for the rim width wise . Cant even work out how they got that tyre to seal , would be fun driving it down the road .

  12. I think if i won mega or medium lotto i would STILL be a cranky old truckie !!!!! I would still be driving trucks as thats when i'm at my happiest . I'd buy my wife the house she wants on a big property with a huge shed filled with ex-overnighter trucks and just still be a cranky old truckie ! LOL .

  15. I use the freezer trick when restoring truck models . Duno how it works but soak the model in water for a couple of hours put it in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for a day or two . It then makes the glue brittle .

  17. Welcome aboard clayton , i'm a fellow driver and really dont care what people think about me building . In fact the other drivers in my place are interested in my latest projects .
  18. There was a real LTL for sale here recently , when you stand beside one they are an awsome machine .
  19. The ANL petes were found in the states in paddocks and yards and brought here and converted . Freestones had a couple but i think they leaning towards western stars now . The last time i heard the black dog lived at narellen near camden NSW . Theres more here on the road than you think , i drive around sydney all day and see alot now .
  20. In australia we used to have them on lowloader trailers that carried heavy loads as the wedges ( dogs ) covered almost the whole rim .

  24. I just noticed that the external sunvisor is on the sleeper sprue and i looked at the layout of the kit else where in this thread and see there's not going to be an external sunviser .
