  3. Peter I did the scratch test as you recommend. There is the original color under that primer. Thanks Mike
  4. Thank you, guys, for your comments it means a lot to me. I do have to say," it turned out great." Mike
  5. This a great build and concept. Maybe I can talk my brother into turning his 1:1 into this masterpiece
  6. Great build of one of the best to come out of Detroit. I read somewhere that the 32 Ford is the most customized car in the world. The 57 has got to be number 2
  7. I think that I have 4 "perfect" paint jobs after chasing them for 30 years. Good Luck Mike
  8. Does the primer bleed thru and exposing the bare plastic? Later today I will do a scratch as you suggested. Thanks Mike
  9. VERY KOOL. The LEGO driver is pure genius
  10. My question is? When a color bleeds through the primer is the primer still there? Mike
  11. I don't know if I am going to love it or hate it. I am just going to Clearcoat it. It will be a unique color. I think that that with all of the chrome parts it will help with the overall look. Mike
  12. Trippi
  13. Most Excellent
  14. Brain, I decided to just Clearcoat as is. I can't decide if I hate it or love it. The kit does have a lot of chrome parts, and they may help with the overall look. Mike
  15. Pink Red Base | splash paints SUPERprimer
  16. Nice and easy kit to build. Box stock, basic engine wiring. The paint is Scalefinishes Cadillac Firemist Madeira Plum and Cardinal Red Flocking. IMO the closest to a custom paint job that was available from any Auto Manufacturer back in the late 60's Mike
