I have finally have a Slot Car store and track close to my house. Logan Ave Slot Car Raceway in Belvedere IL. How do I get started in the hobby? Forums, magazines, scratch building and so forth? I have been surfing and found some on line stores. $395.00 for a motor !!! Any info would be greatly appreciated, Short story. 1999 I spent $1000.00 on Carrera tracks, cars and accessories . We hired Bekins in 2007 to move us. About 1 year I can not find my stuff. Stolen and I could not make a claim too late. Lesson learned anything of value gets put into my car. Thanks Mike 1017

After reading all 23 books I have a very strong opinions regarding both movies. One of the things that the movie does not capture is Reacher's analysis of a fight that is gonna happen.

One day Revell is gonna start selling quality US built 3D printers for the home. Download a Revell a 1958 Cadillac file with a bunch of options. Chop the roof, put in a Hemi, delete all the side trim, and so on and so on. One could certainly build a lot cars from one file. MY RANT. NO more Chinese million $ injection machines, tooling, factories, and warehouses. Just gonna have a R&D center proudly flying the US flag and a staff of Americans. Mike

Use a tooth pick and gently scrape the paint off grille bars. The grille will look 100% better. Mike

I believe in using the same primer, paint, and clearcoat from the same manufacturer. Tips. Put the can in hot water for a minute or so. Do a test spray. Make sure that you wash the body with soap and water after each prepping stage. Good luck Mike
