New Moebius Ford Pick-ups 1971 Ranger XLT AND 1969 Custom SWB
Austin T replied to SteveG's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I am pretty sure it will have one. I also have a hard time believing that the pictures contain all the parts for the kit. -
Whoa James! That thing is sweet. I'm sure there is a caster who would love to cast that

And a ford GT 40. Very nice work by the way, be a cool model to build.

Well I told my "connection" to get me one of these and a slingster and I will have it Monday. Pretty excited.

I know how you feel. My box shipped on December 5th, it arrived stateside on December 19th. No sign of the package yet and I don't get tracking since it's from Japan. Probably being held by customs with suspicion of it being a bomb or something.

What if they go rouge and try and take down humanity! -
When we had the kit it was about 29.67, for some reason the kit just has a higher mark up than the usual AMT kits.

so how do i fix my boo-boo?
Austin T replied to allecb's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
If you do want to re prime it the best white primmer you could use would be Tamiya's white fine surface primmer. -
What masking tape do you use to get such sharp but yet curved lines?

I think the best way to put is that we all look at things differently. That's a good thing, last thing we want is a dystopian society like the one in George Orwell's 1984 where we all think the same thing. For example I'm getting a good notion a few people are "Gotta have my 'Murican V8, because I'm a patriot and I love my country. Anything else is a threat to my way of life" I personally like a lot of cars from different countries and hate a lot of cars from different countries, brand names don't sway me that much either. Just because it's a Honda/Ford/Chevy/Chyrysler/Toyota/Nissan/ect. doesn't mean that I dismiss the car without a first glance, I look at it for it's qualities even if it does have a weird name. And to be honest from a business stand point the name isn't that bad, not many people will forget it.

Looking great so far. Just out of curiosity are you the same Randy that does the DownTown Deco stuff, I figure you are with your user name but you never know.

This is very nice! Any chance of a resin kit made from this? -
I don't exactly know but I want to say that two went to another hobby shop and the other two were sold individually. I contemplated buying them all and flipping them in Chattanooga but I didn't want to gamble the money.

Got my new paint rack in and installed. You see testors and model master racks all the time but Tamiya is harder to find, it's also my favorite type of paint.

That shine is great! How did you get the paint so glossy out of the can? I am in the middle of building a Fiat 500d with the same color.

Looks like a Nash and an Oldsmobile had a kid. It looks nice, to those that know was there ever a two door version?

I think this is hands down the best ad for a model meeting I have ever read. I would go if I was close but I'm a ways away. -
