I'd love to build one just because the styling is so crazy different. This should have been kitted back in the 60's-70's when it was more well known and when racing was big with kids/modelers at that time. I honestly don't see this kit being produced anytime soon by revell or round2. I would love to see a kit of it,but if you were to go to a room full of a car guys of all ages I'm sure that you would have more that don't know the car versus those that do. It should have been kitted in it's prime but has been forgotten and swallowed by the depths of time.

The way I said it I know that i would need all of the above first. I know how restoration works. I was going for a "What if...." kinda deal.

I believe Tom is correct, technically the SC/Hurst versions were 68's & 69's. Either way they are cool little cars. I picked up one at a swap meet for 30 and a set of Fred Cady decals to build mine.

Greg,you brought this on yourself. Before you hastily reply with a picture or stating your rights how about you think about why this happened. To me the SSR was a terrible looking car, this on the other hand vastly improves the design. I like it.

Just out of curiosity Greg were you trying to learn something or bash something openly in public again? It seems like your bending over backwards to cause unrest and trouble in the community. I respect them. As I was told once it's "Unsexy janitorial work with no pay". There are a few things that certain ones have done a time or two that made me think differently about them, but overall I wouldn't have it different. Now some of the members regularly who go around placing banana peels and puddles of kerosene, it would be better without them.

No offense taken, I don't like to classify Imports as one thing that a 20 year old with an old accord and a pep boys catalog can create. There are certainly "Ricers" but the Import croud tries to push them away. Much like how vintage Muscle guys don't accept the new muscle cars as "Real muscle" cars.

The import crowd isn't that big into black wheels. Most of the time the painted wheels they have are bright colors. I see more pro street/muscle guys with black painted rims than I do imports. Oh and that's what they are technically called, not the slur "Ricer".

It's a touchy subject, here probably not so much because only a handful of guys here build imports. It's mostly an aesthetic thing some guy like. The way I see it is it's their ride they do whatever they want to it, if I don't like it I get my own and make it my way. It's the easiest way to avoid pointless internet duels and make everyone happy.

At our local Walmarts they wouldn't let the kids talk unless asked or approach someone to buy cookies, If they do they are gone.

I do agree some of the new F1 cars are rather "Suggestive" with their looks. All joking aside i like last years car's better, who knows what we're in for next year. Hopefully some of the restriction get lifted and we can see some more pistons. (Just my person preference). And on a side note if you can't contribute something that adds to the conversation please don't post, quality over quantity.

I'm just using the "Snapmatic" app on the in game phone and then going onto the social club website and saving them.

Most of the cars have badges,but for in game companies. For example there are several Karin badges on my Futo, which is the in game version of Toyota. And yes it originally started with fake cars to avoid licencing,but it has become a gta tradition.

Nice buffalo Frank. I don't have to many special cars, most of them are common but I just like em. All of them have EMS upgrade and are turbocharged. These are mostly cruising cars. I love to take the Futo and the Sultan into the hills and go drifting, wheres my Phoenix is mainly what I use for bounty hunting,armored trucks, or convince stores.

I'm gonna try and go this year. The weekend is clear for me and I actually have some models built and ready to show.
