You should build a Cheetah interceptor. Make up a fake story about how the CHP was looking for a fast race prepped car for chases and experimented with a cheetah but found it wouldn't work for them so they destroyed the only one. It would be pretty cool.

I think I will "Pick up" this kit sometime soon, I would rather have a dualie option but this should do for now. Be nice alongside my Moebius Pick up I plan on getting. -
That is sick. I love the recent resurgence of the mini bike scene over the last few years.

Yep! Even when he called out the cops to ticket peoples cars facing the wrong way at two a.m. the cops wrote "Courtesy of your HOA" on the back of most of the tickets.

I'd get that kit,but by the time I purchase the base kit and the trans kit from 81 I'm already in at least $100 bucks. I'm hoping a kit manufacturer produces the kit similar to what Aoshima did with the Rocket Bunny kit.But to be fair I could only see a Japanese company like Aoshima or Fujimi doing a kit like this, not even Tamiya.

Me an James have talked about HOA's before and I can assure you the he will stay away from place with a HOA. I hate the one in my neighborhood.

Dang man! Do you have a tunnel to Japan in your back yard or something? It seems like you always have your hands on the newest Japanese/Chinese kit right as they come out. -
I will pick some up for you if I see them and I have enough for me.

Love this kit to death. This was my first nice AMT kit I had ever built and needless to say I loved it. I plan on getting the new reissue when it hits shelves.- 13 replies

I picked up a set of the AMT parts pack Polyglass GT's at Hobby Lobby yesterday and went back to get the second pack today and they were gone. But at least I still got my one pack, they are such nice tires. I almost want to build a muscle car right now just so I can use 'em!

Thanks for the info, Always did wonder what it meant. In all honesty it was a pretty good way to market a product like that to young guys.

Two Cellos + classic rock = The coolest thing ever.
Austin T replied to Austin T's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Yes "smell's like teen spirit" is one of my favorites, It would be nice to hear "heart shaped box". I can almost hear it in my head with a cello. -
Really looking forward to this one! I'm going to have to get a copy of your Vector and the AMX/3
-
These ain't your father's cello tunes, that's for sure! These guys cover everyone from Nirvana to Hendrix with usually just two cellos and some times a third guy on drums. I kinda wish they would do some songs like "Roadhouse blues","Twilight Zone",or even a Sublime song(Santeria possibly?) but still they are pretty darn good at what they do. I don't know their name but they are on youtube as 2Chelloslive

Microsoft ending XP support on April 8
Austin T replied to Ace-Garageguy's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Two family members of mine recently got a new laptop with Windows 8 on it and asked me to teach them how to use it. After about two hours I taught myself the basics and then taught them what I learned. I absolutely hated it the first hour but then started to get used to it. It's like learning to drive stick for the first time, at first it seems impossible to do everything at the right time but then you get used to it and rarely goof. It's still totally out there and different, but not too bad if you take time to learn how to use it. -

Castenparts on Ebay?
Austin T replied to KevinMoparFord's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Trying to get a lynching squad ready? I know how it feels to think that a liar/cheat/theif/not good person is going to be at a show soon. I've been trying to track down a guy that has about twenty ebay builds he has taken to a few shows around here and cleaned house with, I even have the completed auctions printed off and ready to go anytime I go to a show. I haven't seen him in a while though. -
In Murfreesboro every subway is owned by the same man. He has been known to randomly fire people because of their race and then cover it up with a silly excuse. Also is you pay attention the guy has upped the preset register tax to around 13-15% instead of our normal tax of around 9-ish. You never see anyone work there a solid year and hours are cut constantly. I like subway but I refuse to visit a Murfreesboro store because of the owners lack of ethics and morals.

William you might want to look and see if the Formula D is going to be in your area this year. Plenty of cars like this being pushed to the limits at every corner. Everyone from the big aftermarket guys with the crazy $$$$ cars to the weekend warriors with a souped up Miata participate.
