It's my revell '57 ford gasser, I think I have a total of 40-45 hours in this guy, It took about six months on and off.

Thank god one person realizes this. Last weekend after a model show a guy started to tell everyone I was 18 so I would get my best junior award revoked. but anyways back on track. Are you suggesting that I haven't seen true comedy till I get to ,oh I don't know 45? -

While your there check out the reviews for Haribo's sugar free gummy bears. Never have I been in so much pain from laughing so hard before. -
Beautiful so far. I think I saw you post a glimpse of this on scale imports right? Can't wait to see this finished.

Definition of muscle car.
Austin T replied to om617's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I don't know if I would go with Grand Touring, but to be fair most muscle cars are also classified as grand touring cars. I think what we need to do is make very specific categories so that way we don't have a car that is in five different ones. -

The Aussies had a similar muscle car war around the same time as we did in the US. Some of the cars they had over there even had the same parts on cars we had. Germany may have had a similar deal but with sports cars. As close as I would say Europe had to a "Muscle car" comparable to American standards was the Jensen Interceptor II and the Iso Grifo, but both of those had American internals. -
Saturday I won best Junior at the Birmingham Classic,an award that I was extremely honored to revive. Being as this is my last show in the junior category I was very happy to end the category on a positive note.Turns out a few guys on Facebook are claiming I'm 18 years old, which would put me out of the running as a junior. Tommy M. contacted me and asked me if I was really 17 and I told him it was true and he was really polite about it. The sad thing is I would almost bet money as to who did it. I Can't believe (Well I can) that some body would stoop that low to try and strip someone of an award the rightfully earned.

Excellent Automotive channel on Youtube
Austin T replied to Austin T's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Your welcome. I found them a few days ago and I think I have seen most of their video's. I really like them. -
It's not often that I share something like this but this is too good to keep to myself. Most auto related youtube (and real TV shows) focus on the power and features of a car. This channel talks about the reason why the owner likes the car, what it means to them. There are no lap times,no neck breaking speeds, or real power figures on the car. They cover everything from datsun's to BMW's to Alfas, to Ferrari's. And as an added bonus the filming is extremely well done in my opinion. The channel is called "Petrolicious",here's one of their many videos. Here's a link to the channel.https://www.youtube.com/user/PetroliciousCo

Beautifully executed. I have a stock Tamiya kit and the Aoshima rocket bunny Ver.1 kit that I plan to build to display next to one another, hopefully mine can come out half as good as yours.

57 Ford Gasser- One Day Left! Buckeye Classic or Bust!

Might want to check your headers with the engine bay walls. I scratch built headers for mine and almost threw mine away because it was such a tight fit. -
Models in the movies

Rod Stewart is HUGE in model trains. His layout is so big that he has about four or five guys that regularly maintain it. -
People who put unrelated tags in their Craigslist ad. "I'm selling a Ford Taurus, better put some tags like Jeep,Camaro,Corvette,Skyline,Supra,AMC,ect in there! That will bring them in!" or the dealers that advertise in the "Owner" area. No owner sells a car for monthly payments, give me a break.

Thank's for the link. In my opinion the M1 was the sexiest car that BMW ever made, the way it sounded the lines, and then put a pro car body kit on it and it's just a work of art.

At least it's real. I thought that it was a photo shop creation. The thing looks awesome. -

Has anyone found a good ratio other than "looks good". I tried 50:50 but it was way to thin, I'm thinking 30:70 or 40:60 would work better?
