  1. Does anyone know how much of a connection there is to the movie and the game series? I stopped with EA period after the hot mess known as "Need for Speed The Run". This is one of those movies I'm not gonna pay to see in theaters but if it's on tv or I'm over at a buddies place and he has it I may watch it.
  2. That's pretty sweet. I imagine that using the tilter to turn at even a moderate speed would be scary. Thank god for the steering wheel!
  3. Inca Gold fit's this car very well.
  4. Very nice job on your Alfa. Recently I have really started to like them, hopefully I can get some Alfa kits at decent prices.
  5. Believe me, the only diesel I'll ever own again is this kit, the 1:1s are way too expensive!! Yea, it seems as if the only cheap diesel's to run are the VW's!
  6. Tom I've always loved the idea for the licence plates from NNL East, I used the frame the other day on a build looking for a way to dress up the plate area. Thanks again for sending one to me ages ago.
  7. Dual monitors all the way. I can have the forum up on the left and have youtube or facebook on the right. Love it so much.
  8. Every time,every time.
  9. Being a judge multiple times I can tell you that almost all of the guys I have worked alongside with don't want to touch a model. They respect the work and effort that the builder has put into it. Now have had to touch a few multiple times because these guys will fold their info sheets up and stick the model smack dab on top of the info! Whenever I move someone elses work I use my gloves, call me a nerd if you want but I have yet to damage a model.
  10. One thing that I notice a lot of guys do at shows I attend yearly is they bring the same model year after year. Some of the models I have seen at every show I have ever been to! I honestly think it makes the builder look lazy, not the model, the fact that they have brought the same model untouched to the same contest the last three years. What I have created to avoid myself doing that is my "Show Circuit". Each model "Tours" all the shows one year, after that is gets retired and lives comfortably in a clear display case in my cabinet. If I go to a new show for the first time I bust out the model for that show and it gets show again, then back into the case. Here's my question, do you think it's acceptable for builders to bring a build model to the same show multiple years in a row or should they have a "show circuit"? PLEASE keep this on topic, logical, clean, and within the forum rules. Also this is not about the contests themselves, just people who bring the same model multiple times.
  11. I'd be very pleased! I've been thinking about getting a Stratos for sometime now. Hows the kit?
  12. That is crazy! Love the story and love the paint/decal work.
  13. That is golden. Sounds like something a guy would say all nonchalantly in a conversation with his buddies.
  14. Very nice. I've got one of these that I'm thinking about building, especially since I've seen yours.
  15. Nope. Got DECA state competition from Thursday to Saturday. BTW that Alfa Is cool.
  16. I can help with that if you need me to. Can't do anything till Saturday afternoon though.
  17. Bring the two Gunze kits to the meeting when ever we have it. I want to see what they look like.
  18. It depicts a 70-74 model I believe. As for the interior it's stock with the option of a rollbar for the drag version.
  19. Cool this has really got me wanting to build my NSX. I'm thinking a pearl orange with a carbon fiber roof.
  20. Very nice start. I built the Porsche Racing team version of this car. It was a nice build. Sadly though my clear has begun the crack ruining the finish.
  21. I have a similar story but not as funny. Recently me and a few of my buddies were goofing off in the parking lot of a restaurant waiting for it to open for lunch, when suddenly one guy had the great idea to "Dukes it" over my friends accord. Now when you look at his accord you can see a butt print right in the middle of the hood.
  22. What's the going rate for a liver again?
  23. Wana post some pics up in the review area Jonathan?
  24. Ok I think I might win the stupid idea contest. When I was 12 a good friend of mine dared me to ride down the huge set of hills we had at my old place, but to do it in an old little tikes car. Ya know the red and yellow ones meant for kids 5 and under. By the time I got in both legs were propped out the side windows and my head was sideways against the roof, needless to say I was a tad to large for it. So anyways my friend gives me a good shove and away I go. All is going great till I get to the bottom of the hill and I hit a small trench that we had dug a few weeks back.By the time the spinning and flipping ended the car was on it's roof and I was pretty stuck in it. I ended up having to cut off the roof to get out. Needless to say I learned my lesson that day.
