  1. I picked up the photoetch set before I bought it so that I could convince myself I had to have the kit, but I have yet to pick up the carbon fiber set. I don't know if I will but chances are pretty good that I will.
  2. The postman stopped by today and handed me this, directly from Japan.
  3. As close as I've come to a serious modeling disaster was the time I went to yank a kit out of the bottom of a stacked pile and covered myself in about thirty or so kits. One or two kits hitting you in the face is ok, having thirty all deciding to ambush you at the same time is not fun.
  4. I went a few years back when they stopped in Nashville. Pretty cool show, lot and lots of sweet rides too.
  5. Sounds like a must have. I personally prefer the the street version of the F1 but I still really like the "Race" version, also full detail is a plus. Now if only we could get a P1 soon..
  6. Talk about cleaning house James. Hows the F1 GTR kit? As good as it's been hyped up to be?
  7. Yea I'm still trying to figure out who took all those Mustangs...
  8. Nice Aoshima swag. Is this a reward from thier frequent buyer punch card? All joking aside where could I get a catalog from them?
  9. Very nice start. I am a big Rotary guy so I will be following along.
  10. I'm not a big Fat Boy type of guy, I'm more into Sportsters, but this is a very cool kit that has plenty of potential. Is it going to be two tone of just one shade?
  11. It's interesting. The more I look at it the more I hate it and the more I love it. I do like the big ole turbo poking it's head out behind the grill.
  12. I ordered the Tamiya LaFerrari as a happy birthday present and James hooked me up with an Aoshima Aventador and an Italeri Subaru race team set. No pictures yet but I will have some when my LaFerrari gets here, now if only a company had a P1 kit I could set along side my LaFerrari.
  13. Just an open reminder to give thanks for your mother, wife, or even thank a single dad for working hard to raise their children. So get off the forum and spend some quality time thanking someone for being the mother in someones life.
  14. Looks sharp. Never thought I'd hear "Aston Martin" and "Stanced" in the same sentence before, looks pretty good though.
  15. I agree with you Harry, but some times you have to dare to be different to stand out from the crowd. Imagine if Elvis would have stuck with Gospel instead of rock, things would be a lot different today.
  16. Technically automotive excitement could be different for anyone car enthusiast. To me the Z/28 is just another boring GM product, I'd rather be thrilled by a GTR or a koenigsegg. I have my interest you have yours, best thing to do Is to realize everyone has different tastes.
  17. You just can't make up stuff that funny.
  18. My bad, forgot it was there.
  19. Hands down my favorite cover is "Higher Ground" Originally by Stevie Wonder and covered by the early Red Hot Chile Peppers.
  20. I can't drive 55...
  21. In middle TN 30 or so years ago there was a flood that the state said was a once a 100 year flood. In 2010 we had another 100 year flood. I'm still trying to math this together.
  22. Sleep apnea is a serious health concern. My father was diagnosed last year and loves his CPAP machine. He is more energetic, in better moods, and gets a full nights sleep every night. After he found a face piece that he liked he says he doesn't even notice it anymore.
  23. Great deal with AFX a.k.a JC Reckner. Item was in perfect shape and was packaged very well.
  24. I'll be totally honest I'm not big on low profile type wheels but those Dayton Hybrids look sick. So many possibilities with them.
