  1. I think the Rockford files are a little to far back for a new product. If you were to go and ask anyone under 30 about the show I'm sure many would give you a strange look. That and the car isn't as Iconic as other movie cars that have been done before. I could see a Mirth mobile doing OK and maybe even a Bluesmobile doing just a tad better but still not great. Now I could easily see something with a tie in to a big movie within the last ten years like Transformers (Honestly surprised we haven't seen that one) and round2 already did a Jack Reacher Chevelle. Maybe even some success with a few of the Fast&The Furious cars (Just not like RC2's very scary "attempt"). But then the problem with movie cars is that that's what they are, very few could be easily repackaged with new decals or box art to make a desirable model.
  2. Have you guys seen the Tumbler post about this? I would share it here but it is far from PG. Hilarious though.
  3. I have to agree that the Ford police car was a big let down, I was really really wanting to build a Los Santos PD car. Other things to take note of: That sure doesn't look like a '70 Torino to me, but don't worry it will suck no matter how good it is because other people say so. And then we have the totally unexpected Wrangler Rubicon snap kit. Things I'm looking forward to: The Torino (I do like big unique 70's Muscle cars), The Rabbit will make a nice addition to my vintage imports, and The Integra since I've seen so many good examples built. Hopefully people will finally be glad about a new Corvette kit, I've noticed a lot of people really want one.
  4. I know it's pretty heart breaking. Why can't the bad guys just gently steal the car and keep in it a garage til the end of the movie?
  5. How many trailer could you fill alone Jonathan? Three or four? All joking aside it would be cool to get the ROG transporter and load it up with some dealer room ready FRS/BRZ kits, to save some time you could even apply the protective wraps over things like the bumper, wind shield, ect.
  6. Tell me about it! Also isn't this suppose to be in the Australian Outback?.
  7. Well I'm glad that the attitude got better. What my post was trying to say is that "The glory days" of cars never came to an end, maybe for your tastes but not for others. Also if your not looking for an argument why do you insist on making two points trying to shove my opinion into the ground? I'd make a joke about a few totally unnecessary things you mentioned earlier they were way off topic and should be kept off the forums (Even in the rules here that everyone has read) but hey I have some integrity. All I'm going to say is that if you put down something else other people enjoy expect for someone to say something about it. I have my opinion and you have yours, just don't shove yours down my (Or others) throat and issues don't arise. And as for the AMX it's easily one of my favorite AMC cars, right behind it's bigger brother the Javelin. Heck I'm even working on bashing two Jo-han glues bombs and many other parts from other kits to make '70 AMX that I plan on painting BBG.
  8. I've got the earlier "Miller Time" version of this in my stash, I think I may have to get this one as a "back up".
  9. Very very interesting. Who produced these I can't entirely make out the company on the tag.
  10. Here's a thread that was started earlier. Ignore the fanmade flick in the OP and your good, I posted the official trailer on the second page.
  11. I figured we would get a glimpse of the movie at SDCC and we got the first OFFICIAL trailer so far. This is going to be interesting..
  12. When ever you get it in please post up some pictures of this guy, I keep thinking move and move about the possibilities of this kit.
  13. Check out the link in my sig and ponder that for a few, life is not as bad as you think....
  14. That Ford bed looks awesome, but I have a good feeling that it's not so fun if you roll over in the middle of the night and slam into a cold metal bed lip.
  15. That is awesome, I never would have though about doing that. So what scale does it come out at? 1/12 maybe?
  16. Looking forward to this one! After I built my Gunze 500D earlier this year I've been wanting to build another small Euro car and the Isetta would be perfect, sadly I never can find them at reasonable prices on the bay. Love the idea of yours though and the paint job makes it look sinister (Well for an Isetta).
  17. That's really well done! Excellent body work!
  18. Excellent start so far! I have a feeling this is going to be a good build.
  19. Interesting. I would like to have this, but storage and storage seem to be a problem for me.
  20. I present to you the V8 Hotel in Stuttgart Germany, the ultimate car guy hotel.
  21. The MPC kit isn't all that bad, it just takes more effort to yield a good model. Here are two of the best examples I've ever seen of the kit built, both by builders out of Japan. The full write up is here, but it's all in Japanese.
  22. If I didn't know better I'd say you liked Datsuns, oh wait that's right. Here's my tiny (Compared to yours) Datsun shrine. And then I've got three other Datsun kits but they are all Japanese flat boxes.
  23. Part 2! And here are most of the retooled parts. All the lovely race parts. And a sick decal sheet, if anyone doesn't plan on using theirs let me know.
  24. Well I finally got some free time so I grabbed my new camera and snapped some photos of this kit. The chassis piece went in the big area. I had my hopes up for a stripped door panel insert, but we just got a stock one. Only complaint so far. Out of scale wire for plumbing, instructions on plumbing in the instructions (Duh ) Just so you get an idea how tiny the wheels are here it is next to a quarter.
  25. Got a picture that we can work with?
