  1. A plate is 6" tall and 12" wide. A model plate would be 1/25 (or 1/24) of that size, or about 1/2 inch wide by 1/4 inch tall.
  2. Nicely done.
  3. I like it! Could do without the Camaro rear end (give me the "trademark" Corvette round taillights that make a Corvette a Corvette), and a couple of silly parts like the dopey LEDs around the headlights and the weird vertical side marker lights, but all in all a cool design.
  4. Nice looking truck. They had it going on back then, style-wise. Today's trucks don't compare.
  5. This is a question, not a tip or trick or tutorial. It should have been posted in the Q&A section.
  6. Here's the website. Awesome kits! http://wingnutwings.com/ww/
  7. Remember, don't post hints or answers here! PM me with specific year, make and model. The answer: 1938 Terraplane Coupe
  8. I should probably talk to the guys north of the border at the Mars Cheese Castle about setting up a franchise. You know, getting in on the ground floor and all that. Seems like it would be a natural up there. Sorry... midwestern reference there, you guys outside of the area probably have no idea what Mars Cheese Castle is...
  9. Very nice and clean. I like it. If it was mine, though, I'd add a chrome spreader bar in front to finish off the frame.
  10. A split-grip rim like you describe is already being done in 1/8 scale, but the spokes are machined, not photoetched. http://modelmotorcar...#steeringwheels
  11. I don't know anything about these types of cars, so I can't really comment on the accuracy or anything like that, but I can say that it sure looks cool!
  12. Man, you really need to dust some of those shelves...
  13. I like it!
  14. What's Porte de Garage Alain Normand?
  15. Why are you posting a question in the place where you're supposed to post tips and tricks? As usual, I have to move a topic because the poster was too lazy to bother posting in the right place.
  16. No way we'd even consider adding a "Used Paint" section here, for obvious reasons.
  17. That's a nice set of rocket models.
  18. Here's a really nice one. Looks production-ready to me, and might have sold a few copies. A real beauty... http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/pic/1094/Chevrolet-Corvette-Rondine-Pininfarina-Coupe_2.html
  19. He's a member here but doesn't post very often.
  20. Where's the new Charger concept? If any concept deserved to make production, that one did.
  21. No, their first live performance was in Chicago at the Auditorium Theater on August 17, 1969. The next day they appeared at Woodstock.
  22. Yeah, yeah... I'll finish it one day. BTW... Jay Leno won't bid on Nazi-era German cars? Mercedes-Benz was building cars long before the Nazis came to power, they built cars while the Nazis were in power, and they continued to build cars long after the Nazis were history. I like Jay Leno, but I don't see why he links M-B to the Nazis.
  23. Do the doors open? Looks like maybe they do?
