  1. If any of you have the April 2008 issue of MCM, check out the "chrome at home" ad. We fooled a lot of people with that one!
  2. He also sells left-handed hammers, nails and screwdrivers...
  3. Hey George... isn't it about time to update your screen name???
  4. I don't think I could get used to living in a world where June and July is winter!
  5. I thought the title of this thread was, "Read any good books lately?"
  6. Ummm.... so what's the steering wheel for???
  7. So why post this and tell us you drive like a girl???
  8. "Killing Lincoln" by Bill O'Reilly. If you think you know the whole story regarding Abraham Lincoln's assassination... you don't.
  9. No way. The proportions are completely messed up, it looks like a kid's pedal car or some sort of clown car. The Imperial's styling cues and lines simply do not work on a short wheelbase "sporty" car like this is trying to be. A very silly looking custom. If you're going to do a custom, you really need to think it out and try to improve on the original design, not just create some sort of silly clownish caricature. This looks like it belongs in some Saturday morning kid's cartoon show. IMO... big waste of time.
  10. I'm still not sure how that was actually possible. I mean, an internal-combustion engine needs fuel and air to operate...
  11. Ed, you're absolutely right. Many members just don't care enough to bother trying to take good photos. It's a lot easier to say "sorry for the lousy pix" instead of trying to do better. Just like many members don't care enough to bother to post intelligible comments. But videos like this will help those members who do care about the quality of the photos they post, and we do have members here that do care. As for those that don't care... well, you're not going to get through to them anyway.
  12. Charger-based Daytona was in '69, Road Runner-based Superbird was in '70... and both were one year only models.
  13. Great video! I love how he controls the light not with a bunch of expensive studio lights, but with simple mirrors and reflectors. Excellent technique that doesn't cost a lot of $$$ to do yourself.
  14. Man, that is some impressive modeling right there! Do we have some talented people here or what???!!!
  15. Yes, Flatt and Scruggs recorded and released it some time later as a "Flatt & Scruggs" recording, but the BH intro (which came first) was sung by Jerry Scoggins.
  16. Jerry Scoggins was the one who did the singing, Flatt and Scruggs played the music.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjVzmIV8gwk
  18. Wow! That's a parts box leftovers build? Like Jerred said... you, sir, are a creative genius.
  19. Looks cool... but why is there a phone in the back?
