  1. Welcome to our plastic playground Roberto.
  2. I've used small drops of CA glue applied with a toothpick. The wire I've used is Detail Wire by Detail Master. If the CA glue leaves shiny spots when it dries I hit those spots with dullcoat using a brush.
  3. As others have said, we're pulling for you Harry. When you apply for Disability, be sure that your Doctors state that you are disabled and no longer able to work. S.S. has a habit of turning people down when they apply for Disability. Worst case scenario, you may need to contact a Disability Attorney for help if you get turned down...... Unfortunately, they take a piece of what you get...
  4. Welcome to our plastic playground Jeremy.

  11. That is looking pretty nice so far John. Hope all is well with you and the family.
  12. Yeah...... Unfortunately, I am one of those people... I'm able to get by on it though, along with my wife's SS and the small income from her job. I'm just waiting to see if those wonderful people in Congress will vote themselves another whopping salary increase in the new year...... Poor guys can't make on their 6 figure salaries and their medical benefits and pensions...
  13. Welcome to our plastic playground Boris.
  14. Nope...... Mine don't roll... A long time ago, one rolled off a shelf that wasn't perfectly level....... Not good..!!!
  15. Welcome to our plastic playground Rodney.

  17. Welcome to our plastic playground Nola.
  18. Charles, your diorama looks excellent. Your attention to detail is outstanding. If I may make a suggestion...... I think a couple of old wooden pallets would look good off to the side, maybe stacked against the side of the building...???
  19. Welcome to our plastic playground Luis.
  20. Welcome to our plastic playground Brian.
  21. Welcome to our plastic playground Michael.
  22. Harry, I am so thankful that you are still here with us. I know that you are facing a lot of uncertainty in the future, but with the help of family and friends you will make it through all of these life changing events. When I had my series of TIA's (strokes) back in 2000 I had to learn to walk all over again. I went from a wheelchair, to a walker, to a cane, and eventually was able to move around on my own. I went through a period of depression, asking "Why me..??" I stopped modeling because it just didn't seem all that important anymore compared to health and just being alive. I had to stop driving due to partial loss of sight. Through the help and persistence of my family and great friends I overcame the depression and returned to this hobby which gave me back much enjoyment and purpose, and had a calming effect Life throws us curve balls at times and we just have no choice but to deal with them with a positive outlook in order to survive. It's not easy many times but life in general isn't easy... Hang in there buddy, stay strong and above all, don't be afraid to ask for help when and if you need it.
  23. Welcome to our plastic playground James. You'll get all the help you need right here.
