  1. Very cool. Just may have to pick up a couple...
  2. Welcome to our plastic playground Joe...... You're a man of many talents.
  3. That is a really nice setup Matt.
  4. Yeah, I don't expect to be receiving my final order, placed in May 2016, to be received for at least another couple of months. Not a problem as I have quite a large pile already in my TO DO pile.
  5. Welcome to our plastic playground Matt.
  6. Here's another "Heads up"... The address for Jerry Koszut that is shown on the Resin Realm website is an OLD address...!!! I mailed a check for his '55 Mercury kit to that address back on February 4th when I spoke to Jerry. I called today to confirm that he received the check, and inquired when the kit would be shipped. Jerry advised that he hasn't been at that address for several years and Resin Realm apparently never updated it...!!! Jerry's correct address is; Jerry Koszut, 341 South Osborne Street, Ainsworth, NE 69210-1706 Jerry is contacting the people at the old address to see if they have the check that I mailed (It hasn't been cashed yet), as he apparently knows the people. He will call me back to let me know.
  7. That's a great looking wagon.
  8. Welcome to our plastic playground Lee.
  9. That's a great looking Vicky Kit.
  10. Usually you would paint the lighter colors first and allow that to fully dry. Then tape off what you don't want to be black. Spray the satin black and then allow that to fully dry, and then unmask the lighter color, mask off the satin black areas and then spray your clearcoat. It involves a lot of masking and unmasking but you should get good results.
  11. Yep... Obviously we have no choice but to have patience and wait...... Until the powers that be get around to fixing whatever is causing the problem.
  12. I don't have problems with the site loading...... What gets my goat is, when I click on a thread title on the New Content listing, I get the "spinning wheel" for up to a minute sometimes before that thread actually opens. Then, when I write a reply to post in a thread, it sometimes takes a minute for it to actually post. It's very annoying and frustrating. I use Google Chrome on an ASUS computer with plenty of memory and AdBlock Plus.
  13. I just ordered all 3 sizes of the pens from Model Roundup. As others have stated, I'll be using them for detailing interior window cranks and handles, and touching up sprue attachment points etc. I'm interested to see how well they work on some unchromed pieces in some resin kits, like bumpers and/or grilles. I'll basically be sticking with BMF for everything else as I have no problems using it.
  14. Flocking is fibers, as opposed to embossing powder, which is just that... powder. Flocking is usually preferable for seat, door panel, and headliner applications. Lately, embossing powder is becoming preferable for carpeting and kick panels as it more closely resembles auto carpeting when applied. You can get flocking from Model Car Garage, Detail Master, Model Roundup, or Craft Stores. Embossing powders can also be found at Craft Stores or online.
  15. Cool collection John... Looks like you've got them all.

  23. Try Speedway Decals for those battery and engine bay detailing decals.
  24. What a great looking car. Excellent job Donald.
