Great looking models as usual, and some faces that I recognize. Thanks for sharing these pictures. This show is on my "Bucket List"......Just need to have "the budget" fit it in.

I received an email from Modelhaus and spoke to Don Holthaus concerning my order that was placed with them back on May 19, 2016. My order will finally be going into production next week...... YEAY...!!! Don said that they really never realized how swamped with orders they would wind up getting. Don said that he also injured himself a bit when he cut off part of a finger in a table saw accident. That kind of slowed things down for them production wise. I thanked him for his excellent products over the years, and wished him and Carol a happy, healthy, peaceful and safe retirement...... whenever that actually takes place. Don said that the way things look now, and the pile of orders still remaining, it could possibly be close to a year before they are actually able to shut down and retire...!!!!!!

Truly very sad news. I also met him several times at the last few NNL East shows when he brought some of his models to the MCM photo shoot table. He was a very talented modeler. R.I.P. Blair.

Doctors usually overbook their patient's appointments and always are "running late". I rarely see any of my doctors within 1/2 hour of when my appointment is scheduled... Yes, it is very annoying.

Andy Southard's book "Custom Cars of the 50's" has some great pictures and commentary for customizing "back in the day".

Pittsburgh Steelers owner and former U.S. Ambassador to Ireland has passed away at 84 years of age.

Will be there again this year with my buddy Tom Valenta who is shooting pictures for Model Cars Magazine. Hope to see a lot of old friends and meet some new ones. I'll be wearing a black cap with flames.
