  3. Great looking Hudson Carl.
  4. Very nice Jim. I'm currently piddling with a 1959 Lark promo that I picked up on EBAY. I'm using the interior from a 1960 promo, and I'll be building the car stock for my "Class of '59" collection.

  8. I got to spend most of yesterday with a very close, dear, old friend. He lives in Duluth, MN and he and his wife were travelling to New Hampshire for a family wedding. Doug and I went to high school together, graduating in 1965. Back in the 70's we were heavily into the hippie music scene. He plays keyboards and I used to play bass. We all (my wife too) had a great dinner and drinks at a Mexican style restaurant. We were up until 3 AM reminiscing, chatting, and trying to catch each other up on the 22 years since we'd last seen each other. Unfortunately it was all over way too soon and they're back on the road to New Hampshire.

  11. That would work too...... Use a piece of a round wound D string.
  12. I've made scale curb feelers for models using the smallest springs I could find, like the tiny ones you would use for a carburetor return spring....... just stretch it out a bit, drill a small hole in the bottom side of the bumper and glue in the spring.
  13. Back when I owned and drove my '59 Dodge Coronet (late 1990's), I bought and mounted curb feelers to the outer edges of the front bumper. I put them on both sides of the car for "balance" as James has stated.
  14. Welcome to our plastic playground Steve.
  15. According to Gregg, issue #204 is "in the works" now... Just a bit more patience needed.

  22. Great job, but if you don't mind my saying so, you should do something with that "floating" convertible top boot.
