    My wife of almost 49 years totally supports my hobby as do my 2 30+ year old daughters along with my friends. I'm very lucky.

    I also use the kit boxes with wadded up paper towels to cushion the models. I usually only bring about 3 or 4 models to shows along with an "emergency repair" ziplock bag containing tweezers, toothpicks, CA glue and a dust brush. I pack everything in a Keurrig coffee maker box with a secure handle which holds everything securely along with several mirror display bases.

    For straight glass pieces you can use clear acetate from the tops of boxes of greeting cards.

    I'll be switching to Super Clean because Purple Power just hasn't been doing as good a job at stripping paint as it used to.

    Yes, the magazine is still being published. Since Golden Bell Press pulled out, Gregg has had to learn and take on a lot of additional legwork to keep things running. It has been and is a steep learning curve for him coupled with a LOT of additional work and even more expenses than when Golden Bell was in the picture. Patience on the part of everyone who looks for the magazine in their LHS or in their mailbox is needed until Gregg works out all of the kinks in getting things to run smoothly. Gregg is determined to make it work.
