  1. Pretty cool, Bill. The 1st bumper appears to be '58 lmpala unit ? I like both looks. I'll keep watching to see where this goes. Bart.
  2. ...........l understand ! l've been pretty picky & choosy with my comments, but the overall mentallity does seem to have mellowed lately. Glad to have you back !!!
  3. l stand corrected ! This is WAY outta the box ! The tires & rims look perfect now. Sorry 'bout the doubt earlier, l knew you had a great plan. Bart
  4. WOW ! l've seen this advertised in the mags. lt looks absolutely stunning ! the engine looks fantastic ! Patience involved ? Bart.
  5. Really cool ! l've been curious about this kit for a long time. Seeing it built is giving my ideas about some custom treatments. I always assumed it was a curbside. Nice engine work. Bart.
  6. Keep 'em comin' ! Nicely done.
  7. Very sharp ! I'd love to have this kit ! Love the motor transplant ! Bart
  8. Very cool ! l've only seen one picture of this, it had 5-spokes, maybe Cragars ? Do you have any engine shots ? How many cars in your Petty collection now ? I'm getting ready to start a '65 Satellite & l was SO tempted to do a phantom "43", lol. Bart.
  9. Very beautiful. l've always wanted to build a hardtop. Everything looks perfect here ! Bart.
  10. Hahaha !!! Excellent ! OK, Scott, now you've got me checking every post, lol ! I don't have that kind of time ! I thought you were going through burnout ; now l see you've just been in hibernation ! Bart
  11. Very authentic. You've captured one of my favorite childhood memories (& kits) perfectly ! Nice job on the doors! Most folks lose patience & glue them shut, lol ! I went a completely different direction on my latest attempt. Hope to see more from your bench soon.
  12. Tasty as always, Scott. Everything looks great from here ! Nice job on the decals, is that new for you ? Glad to hear from you again & see something from your bench ! Bart.
  13. Oh Yeah !!! Beautiful through & through ! '62 was a VERY good year. Lotsa great things came about then. Bart
  14. That's perty ! Sign me up for one of those 427s ! I always liked this kits version. Now if they'd just make one un-chopped ! I love the fade job. Check your e-mail, l just did something very similar ! This thing looks wicked with the big meats tucked in the back. Nice wheel treatment too. I'm loving this whole build ! Bart.
  15. ............Now it makes sense ! Great job !
  16. l love '60s Mopars more than most. You did such a MARVELOUS job on the body & nailed the look you were going for. But......well, l think the tires & wheels are just too plain & boring for such a beautiful job on the paint & BMF ! Just one man's opinion, & l'd be VERY proud to display it as is ! Bart.
  17. Excellent start. l love this color & your paint job looks miles deep! lt's hard to beat any mid-sixties Mopar IMO. Bart
  18. Great to see this one finished, Mike. lt turned out very nice! lt makes me wanna get my stalled A-100 back out. The doors were giving me fits, so l went in a completely different direction. l can only hope mine turns out half as nice! Fine job on a PIA kit ! Bart.
  19. Wow, Jim ! All the right custom touches & then some ! Love the "almost" flatbed & the peekaboo hood ! Did the seats come from the '39 Wagon Rod ? Pretty cool shop truck ! Bart
  20. You are right, my friend ! Someone HAD to do that & l'm glad it was you ! Looking fantastic....as usual. Nice touch with the big "T"s. Good luck with the tests & have fun with the nurses ! Bart.
  21. Are you using the kit motor ? This thing is screaming for a big block !
  22. Thank you. l mean that !
  23. lf she gets any prettier, l'd take her home to meet Momma !
  24. Thanks, guys. l'm replicating a friend's '69 GTX. l'm gonna give the saphire blue over white primer a go. lt will be close enough. This will also be my 1st attempt at a vinyl top, which will be white. My main concern is that the blue will look even darker in contrast with the white top.
  25. Awesome work once again, Jim ! That's a beautiful blue. Love your hood & hinge treatment. This big block is dressed out perfectly for this build, it's almost elegant yet not over the edge. I remember not liking this grille in the '70s, but it looks right at home here. Your garage keeps looking better also. I don't remember seeing the mini bike before ? Everything lives up to what we've come to expect from your bench! Bart.
