  1. l love this car. l'll keep watching.
  2. Maybe you should consider doing the outer bed panels in faded paint ? They were fiberglass & wouldn't rust. The rest looks great !
  3. I have this kit, also. It's good to know it's a good kit, l haven't looked at it yet.
  4. Looks great in red ! I can't wait to get my hands on this kit. l LOVE the "shorty" Fords ! Keep it coming.
  5. Great start. Possibly the best '50 Olds start l've seen so far ! An idea as simple as over/under headlights makes a huge difference! Please keep it up . Is that a BBC ? Bart
  6. Erik, it's a shame you're stuck in 1962, lol ! I have a '48 woodie that l'm using the FE from AMTs '60 Galaxie in. I used part of the frame & the front susp. from a Ford Nascar kit. I also used the external belt driven oil pump shown in the above picture. It all works well together & allowed me to get it "in the weeds" ! Bart
  7. Check with Sean Stacey (sstacey47). He casts 1:25 a snowmobile in resin & it looks great ! It's an older model, but close enough for a great starting point if you wanna replicate yours. Bart
  8. The paint turned out beautiful. This is really shaping up nicely. Your friend is a lucky man !
  9. Looks exactly the same only different. Much BETTER different ! Awesome upgrade. Bart
  10. Looking good ! I think l would like this kit. Your paint choice works well with the stripes & rims. Does anyone cast an earlier grille for this yet ? That's the only drawback l can see with it. You certainly made it look it's best ! Killer job ! Bart
  11. l have this project started. Haven't opened the hood yet, but it appears the body will work on the '60 chassis with very little "help". Bart
  12. Fantastic ! That's what l was hoping. Thanks for the quick response, guys ! Bart.
  13. Coming along nicely. Very good job on the back seat & side panels ! The dash must've taken a lot of patience ! Looking forward to the next installment. BART
  14. Welcome aboard ! The car itself is not my cup of tea, but the build is pretty intense. Very nice work, so far. Let's see some more ! Bart.
  15. I can't find any pictures that show the rear window. Does the vinyl continue under the back window or does it kill at the bottom corners ? Any Mopar guys know for sure ? Thanks in advance. Bart.
  16. What do you mean by "paste in your post" ?
  17. This looks like fun. I love these cars & will be following along. Bart
  18. Groovy ! I have almost all the parts l need to build a Chevy Racer's Wedge & the '41 is a possibility for the cab ! I will be watching for ideas. The mock-up looks great, please continue. Bart
  19. Sweet !
  20. BEAUTIFUL !!!!! This has become my favorite genre` lately. I hope you do more like this. Love your skills. Bart.
  21. l love this ! Can't wait for the finale. I do plan on "borrowing" some ideas for my '41 Plymouth. Thanks for sharing !
  22. This is a beautiful shade of blue. Nice all around build !
  23. Glad you're going with th Olds look. I secretly favored that one. Looking again, l can't help wondering how it would look with a '61 lmpala front bumper instead of the '58 ? Seems like it would be more streamlined, lower & showcase the Olds insert more ? Just a thought. Bart
  24. l love it.
