Thanks Richie, You sound like a great friend and I'm sure Michael appreciates your company. Don't worry about the trade Michael. We can deal with that later. Get some rest and concentrate on getting better. Its only plastic!

Picked up these at my local club meeting Sunday. Don't see the EXP's too often.

Looks Great! I don't usually like derby models because most look like they have just been melted and called a derby car but, this one is really good. All that weathering detail and convincing body damage. Very inspiring. I may have to break down and build one now.

Cool build and great color combo. It really works on that body style.

I have to have music going for background noise or I am easily distracted.

I never saw dry rot on a model before. It looks a lot like 1:1 dry rot.

30 minute box van
Evilbenny replied to signguy2108's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Great job. Keep us posted on the build. I have the same idea in my "to build" pile. -
Great Job! Its nice to see a stock version. I was getting tired of seeing over the top custom sled's.

That doesnt look like any barrack's room I was ever given.

Show Us Your Stash!
Evilbenny replied to Bluzboy66's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
This is most of my stash. I have more stashed in various other places. -
Went to a swap meet this morning. It was mostly military models but I did get some great deals. Picked up the Blazer for $3. Not one of my faves but for that price I can find something to do with it.

If you are ever in the DFW area stop by Wild Bill's Hobby Shop. They have all the new stuff and out of production kits. The store is packed with RC, Trains, Slot Car, Die Cast and Model Kits. The staff is freindly and will get what you are looking for if they don't have it in stock. They also purchase collections, so you never know what may be on the shelves. I stopped by CRM Hobbies a couple of weeks ago when visiting my Wife's family in St Louis. It was a great shop and Chris Merseal was warm, freindly, and personaly greeted me as I walked into his shop. The shelves were packed with many out of production kits and new releases. I had to make myself leave before I spent too much money. Chris said that he isnt the best at online sales but that if I needed anything to send him an e-mail with my wants and he would ship it to me. It is worth a visit if you are ever in the area. I know I will go again next time I am in St Louis. Thank you Chris and thanks for the info on this great shop 69NovaYenko.

Why not these things
Evilbenny replied to raildogg's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Im with you on #3 Raildogg. Lets see something different for a change. I don't understand the NASCAR kits. I can't give them away. How are the kit manufacturers making any money on them? I like the 32 Ford, Mustang's, and tri five Chevy kits but how many do we need? I would love to see more truck kits and how about some sedan's. -
Models at Wal-Mart
Evilbenny replied to Evilbenny's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
This was at the Waxahachie store Steve. About half hour south from Dallas. -
Not trying to beat a dead horse with this topic but my local Wally World had some kits on the shelf today. I haven't seen kits in this store for many years. Selection isn't much but it was nice to see them on the shelves again.

doing some custom work and decided to look up the wheels cost
Evilbenny replied to Lownslow's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
You couldn't give those away. Whatever you put those wheels on would instantly devalue the vehicle.
